it seems only zdoom ia able to run it correctly because skulltag(another emulator)and doom95 have proble,s most of the time

so i use doom95 to run my doom games, i downloaded this, and i cant see my status bar or the menu screen. its true ultimate doom, only thing is, i cant play it completely...

@GQOfficial That's really strange, I've never had that problem, maybe mess around with some of the things in the options menu? That's the only thing I can think of

@HknOtnicE yep, once you start and on you're on level 1 (if its doom 2 or i think doom will work too),press "IDCLEV_ _" (the 2 spaces are the number of the level you wanna go to)

@Masterlink981 hmm shit, that's interesting, and I have no idea how to fix it. But, I actually use GZDoom now, which is very similar, and works in like exactly the same way, but is better. I recommend trying it instead.

Dosbox - all you really need. It's cross-platform so works on majority of OS and doesn't make any virtualization glitches

@iMPRE7ed that's true, but the ZDoom engine has many improvements over the original Doom and Doom 2 engines. also i find a lot of people cant comprehend how to type in commands to run the games haha. I personally use dosbox alot for games like blood

you can run doom on every OS system:P

thats no problem ,zdoom, skulltag ,PrBoom Lagecy, EDG

and for the Online use:

Zdeamon, IDE

And 3D dooming

Doomsday and Risen Doom 3D

I had the same problem. the hud is a yellow bar. and the options words are gone and the skull is replaced by a box the same size of grey and white boxes.

be happy to! ok now, you dont need the full game since you have zdoom. you just need a thing called an IWAD that contains the data for the game. just search doom 2 iwad on google. should be much easier to find. then just drag doom2.wad to zdoom and you can play. then for custom wads, do the same thing, but it must be in the same folder as doom2.wad and zdoom. if you still cant find it ill go back and try to find where i found it, or ill send the iwad to yoou
