  • These fruitcakes NEVER rebel, make noise, protest, nor complain about severe issues like rising tuition, high gas prices, unemployment, expensive housing, poverty, food shortages, etc. But these same liberal, hippy, wiccan, tree hugging, wimpy, jungle loving, queer, eco-nazi, sissy, occultist, trailer trash, leftist shrimps ALWAYS have time for demonstrations on ridiculous issues like gay marriage. These douchebags should take off to Europe and Canada if the U.S too conservative for their asses.

  • The way that youtube covers rallies.

Can you imagine Pastor Martin Luther King Jr incouraging rallies where freedom riders stripped down to their undies, painted their faces and wooted? Nelson Mandella kept his dignity at great cost. Susan B. Anthony and Mahatma Gandhi showed how much alike people are.

Scaring little kids creates generations of homophobic adults.

I don't care what you call yourselves, scaring people is counterproductive if you are trying to get people to identify with you.

  • Well, it seems to me, Marybeth321123, that bigotry is one of many justifications for voting for Proposition 8. Indeed, voting for Proposition 8 was an act of bigotry. The reason why it is bigotry is that it is a discriminatory piece of legislation. Why would someone vote against gay couples receiving legal recognition. Non-gay couples receive legal recognition via marriage. Correct? See how this is considered bigotry? Are non-gay Christians superior to gay people in your mind, MaryBeth32112?

  • I really disagree with prop 8 and its really not right, this is a free country, I think everyone should have the right to marry who they want. People don't fall in love with a gender, they fall in love with a person. But I don't like that people think all christians are biggots and all conservative. I myself am not christian, infact I am a homosexual, but I know a lot of christians who stood up for my rights and they are really good people. well a lot of them haha

  • Hey you gays didn't beat my fellow Mormons in this. we beat you! LOL

  • live and let live

  • I really wish I could have been there. I'm straight and I would have proudly joined them. NO ONE should have their rights taken away.

  • It hurts me to see that all the people voting for prop 8 is blind what HappEnD to the persuit of happiness ? My name is sunny I am 13 years old and I am supporter of gays no matter who they are they are humans and we deserve the right to marry the ones we love we are like anyone else treat us all the same ...

  • @singingalot123

oh brother, you queers demand tolerance while at the same time quick to ridicule those with a different view on gay marriage by calling them bigots and that's the only thing you can say against those who arent in favor of it, bigots. how sad!!!

  • 5:32 To answer the question, no. Labor unions vote democratic all the time. Business owners tend to vote for conservatives. They do it because they think it gives them the upper hand. Principle sits in the back come election time. The wallet is what's driving.

  • does anyone remember the holocaust? wat about the civil war? wat about the womens rights movement? what about slavery? what about dictatorships? Yes, the country is a democracy, but what kind of democracy is it when the land of the free isnt so free after all?

  • Boo Hoo Hoo to all those cry baby faggots out there.

  • I find this hilarious. Also the fact that nowhere in the constitution does it say separation of church and state.

  • You know whats funny, everyone hating no matter how much you scream..shot and yell. people will always be gay. =] alway. and like the guy said. Why would you vote against a right for a human being?

  • this is pretty awesome!

  • Excuse me, but California voted in favor of Prop 8 and it won. Now all the gay and lesbian people are crying because they lost. Now with this sorry ass Federal Judge banishing Prop 8, that tells us one thing, THE PEOPLES DECISION DOES NOT MATTER. That is what pisses me off because if Prop 8 had failed, the ones in favor would have protested that too and if it had been overturned, I would have been just as upset with the system because voting is for the people and not the courts.

  • @hainesmike100 MAJORITY SHOULDN'T RULE IN CITIZENS RIGHTS DUMBASS!

  • Hey Dumbass. read the whole fucking comment I made again. Maybey you can learn something. Dont be a moron. Oh and by the way, if this violated peoples rights, why was it allowed to be on the ballot which gave you a right to vote either yes or no? Get your shit together pal, Oh and another thing, the judge who dismissed it was discovered he was gay, the Appeals Court reversed the decision again, Now its in the hands of the US Supreme Court.

  • Gays should have rights i dont care what Christianity says Gays are people they deserve to Marry and have equal rights just like heterosexual people

  • yay!

  • if they legalize it,they might as well

    start marrying CATS and DOGS...

cross both species how bout that?

might as well do it since ppl think they can make laws above god...

  • @reelm4f1486

    I laughed at your foolishness.

  • @explizidace

    the only fool is you

.. why waste your time on my comment if u think it was not valid..?

    fuck off..

  • @reelm4f1486

Someone had to call you out on it. Lol, seriously, which world are you living on.

  • @explizidace

    same planet

same grounds where god created adam and eve..

  • Prop 8 is breeding ground for religious zealots and intolerant conservatives. Prop 8 is a veritable SHIT storm of fear mongering.

But hey don't take my word for it. WATCH NOM's gathering storm commercial.

  • i love this viedo hank you so much for posting it and takeing the time to share it with the world

  • Prop.8 is great. I thank Jesus, Allah and that Monkey-God I forgot his name. Obviously marriage should be religious, and civil marriage is silly. I mean Jews and Christians should never marry outside of their religious authorities either. I love Prop.8 because I don't live in the USA. I want cheap gay immigrants to come to Latin America in search for freedom and a better life.....and to tie my room for 2 bucks a day.

  • Hey Los Angeles. How does it feel to have Mexico City legalize Same Sex Marriage and you not to be allowed to have that? /// Oigan Los Angeles. Como les queda que la Ciudad de México haya legalizado el matrimonio entre parejas del mismo sexo y ustedes ya no tengan ese Derecho?

  • thank god for prop 8 and all those people that did the right thing to make sure gays are NOT ALLOWED TO MARRY!!! thank you so much to that judge that upheld prop 8 and did the right thing. This is not hate this is just the way god intended to be. it is about adam and eve not adam and steve.

  • I used to say that too. But then I realized that treating someone different because of a fairytale among many others is silly. I support gay rights. No reason for them not to marry.

  • to go.. and for you being black to and make that assumption like that makes you much more of the problem than the solution. Get yourself educated a little better.

  • Darkvampire um all you are doing is spreading more hate . Stop playing to what the media wants you to do which is turn the minority public in on each other. So when a majority of white people vote against things should I put them on blast. No!!! They are not being hyprocrites they are following a belief in what they believe is right because of some book called the BIBLE. So if you have any discontent stop using race as a means to attack us cause yes im 1/2 black and focus it where it deserves to

  • Not to sound hateful but just because someone holds a belief very closely doesn't mean it isn't hypocritical.

  • YES ON PROP8 BABY! CREW THE HATERS!We should have ALL the same rights as you do im in love and I can't marry my girl wtf!

  • Way to go supRicky06!!!

    You are an AWESOME person!

    :]

  • America is nothing but a huge shit hole of hypocrites and im ashamed of being a part of this country

  • 11/15/ Is My B-Day and I couldnt be prouder that this was on my day. GAY PRIDE+STRAIGHT PRIDE=PEACE & LOVE

  • There shouldn't even be arguments or protests against prop 8. You want to know why? Proposition 8 shouldn't even exist. It shouldn't be debated whether two people that truly love each other should be able to get married or not. It's disgusting, and what it really comes down to is if the two people actually love each other, not if they're a man and a woman, man and a man or a woman and a woman.

  • Actually its the principle that this country was founded by christian men and women on christian beliefs. Gay marriage is WRONG!!!!! Marriage should only be between a man and a woman. They choose to be gay, people are not born that way they make the decision to be gay.

  • I don't even want to get married, so the faggots could take away my right to get married and make it theirs, I don't care.

  • @KougasPrincess Yes its a bunch of Straight big heads determining our rights of gay marriage. WTF?!!!!!!

  • prove to me its a choice

  • Would YOU choose to be hated if it was a choice? Would you choose to be second class? Would you choose to feel the confusion that comes from not being attracted to the opposite sex? How awkward it is to realize who you are and coming to terms to it. Very very few people would choose this. But it is who we are. It is who I am. And I deserve my rights.

  • leafz we gay people don't lust we love and no it's not a choice we are born this way

  • I'm sorry but a lot of black people 70 percent in fact voted for prop 8 to pass. Why are they being hypercritical? I mean they fought for the right to vote than they take away the right for gay people to be married? I am im black. But i think its so wrong. If they take away rights to gays they should just take away rights for us blacks to vote, like we fight for back in the 60's.

  • Is comparing apples and oranges a fun hobby?

  • fuckhollywood if u had common sense u would understand that there is nothing wrong with being gay

  • I was at the NYC march. Right on L.A. !!!! We will win this!!!!!

  • Divorce rates are highest in the red states lol... Easier to blame the minorities for the failure of your marriage I guess

  • It's a very obvious way that the government has ignored its own rules about keeping church and state seperate. Not everyone is the same religion and everyone should have a say no matter what. It's as if the people for prop 8 believe gays to not be people. That's why I'm agnostic. The church is hypocritical in teaching love of everyone when they exclude people like homosexuals. And I realize not all religious people do this, but it's the majority that do that give all religious people a bad name.

  • im pretty sure god wouldent complain about gays lol not like the chuch people he would proboly be kinda understanding because not of thr sex type but because of thr loves for each other...lol share teh LOVES <3

  • The start of this video made me cry... lol

  • It's a sin to wear polyblend too, do you check the tags of every article of clothing you have ever worn? Or maybe you didn't even read the bible.

There are other religions in the world, the US was founded on the basis of religious freedom. Making the decision to actually take the rights from a group of people, based on one religion, completely annihilates the constitution. The Supreme Court itself ruled gay marriage legal before Prop 8. Proposition 8 is against the constitution, open your eyes.

  • im bi and i thank all you for sticking up for all of us

  • -sigh- I have spoken on this issue so many times all i have left to say is:

    I <3 Gay people

    I support Gay Marriage

Taking away our rights to please your own self your own culture, your own group...well what if we were to take your rights away? You would be applauded, shocked, Maybe even react how we did.

I have never had a gay person approach me about trying to be gay, but a million times over I have had religious people approach me about converting.

  • I'm a Christian. I support gay marriage. Why do we need to take it away from couples?

Not liking homosexuality in itself is irrelevant, this is about human beings. Other human beings who work and contribute to society just like you, pray to God just like you, love and feel just like you. Do you really need further reason?

Why is it that, as a culture, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands?

    My favorite quote : )

  • What? I'm not even gay. I respect other people and that's all. I've been a Christian for ever since I can remember, also, you probably do things that aren't exactly perfectly Christian either. Times are changing, and I don't see why ideals shouldn't.

  • dude how can you say that? god loves every one and wants his people to recpect others.

  • of course god loves everyone, including homosexuals. He just doesn't love their lifestyle.

    Leviticas 18.22

  • What do you mean God love homosexuals but doesn't love their lifestyles, that's just a stupid thing to say, you sound like someone who did not even finish 6th grade and not smart. Do all straight people have a perfect lifestyle?, straight people cheat on their spouses , do threesome and all kind of stuff you can imagine. So this is a stereotype to say gay people have a crazy lifestyle. Some gay people like straight people believe in monagomous relationship, do have kids they are raising etc.

  • i agree with you dude i'm roman catholic and i support gay marriage and i love god.

  • thanx for yr support we need more people from the church speaking up.

  • Homosexuality among a variety of creatures is proven.

The existence of some kind of superior entity is not.

In that case, the majority doesn't lose anything by giving rights to this minority. It's shameful to see all the time we lose with that kind of controverse when there are more urging matters to solve like hum... world poverty ? But hey! why should we care?

  • I am a christian but I HATE PROP 8 i don't see whats wrong with gay marriage at all... We were all created equal so why should they have to hate them cuz they like the same sex? If you really love someone it shouldn't matter their race, gender, religion etc just let them be happy. :)

  • @KuramaLover26 thats awesome. so many christains out there, including my parents, believe gay marriage is bad. I dont get it. I'm gay and how can my parents not support my love?

  • i don't get how Christians can throw around all their "we are good people, we are trying to help you" when they trying to take away good people's right to marriage and happiness. It doesn't affect you! I thought God loved all people.....

  • My take on this is that... it really doesn't matter. If people wish to be gay, let them be gay. They aren't hurting anyone, it's their choice.

  • Your are SO ignorant. Why would it be a good thing if people are denied rights?

  • why would you and the rest of the gay community be SO hateful by attacking people who have an opposite opinion. Not everyone supports homosexuality. Don't agree with that? look at prop 8. And look at the other 15 states that voted down gay marriage.

  • 1st off i'm straight, but that is irralevant. There was NO attacking number one. Number 2) you don't have to support homosexuailty to vote no on prop 8. It does not effect YOU as a straight person AT ALL. How does it effect you? Your just voting yes on it to be an asshole because you don't understand and your scared of it.

  • no i disagree with you, I'd argue that you have a deep fear of heterosexuality, and trust me hetrophobia is a much bigger disease

  • I don't fear hetrosexuality at all actually... considering I am one... So I really don't know what point your trying to make. Ass.

  • no really i think heterophobia is a much bigger disease than homophobia.. i just think your fear of heterosexuality is behind your obsession.

  • IOWA, VERMONT, NEW HAMPSHIRE ALL ALLOW GAY MARRIAGE AS OF APRIL AND MAY!!!! NEENER!!! 15 other states is not all 52. Equality is on the rise! Oh and before you start I'm a catholic and a lesbian. So attack that bitch! LMAO! Bigotry and non-equality is FAIL! Equality and Love FTW!

  • There are only 50 states, and 30 of them have constitutional amendments protecting marriage's definition. About 6 states either allow SSM or recognize those of other states. The remainder have statutes protecting marriage. Oh, and that guy you elected president? He's for marriage being 1 man 1 woman too. So it really is our side that is winning in all of this.

This isn't about civil rights and this isn't about you. It's about preserving a centuries old tradition that has brought us this far.

  • Well Centuries old traditions have a way of being no more oh and I didn't vote for Obama.

You're side will lose of this I am sure of. Just you wait. It's just like women not being allowed to vote. African American's being segregated and now Gay/lesbians being allowed to marry.

You will lose and I will laugh at those like you saying that we wont win.

  • Really? Who'd you vote for, McCain? XD Traditions are long lasting because they are right. How long has same-sex marriage been practiced? 8 years now?

It's JUST like women not being allowed to vote eh? So if you and another adult of the opposite sex tried to get married, you'd be denied the same as a woman was denied the ability to vote?

You already have the right to marry the same way everyone else does. Therefore you already have equal rights. We'll see who'll win California on Tuesday.

  • Wow thank you for your comment. I'm done with you now. Not worth my time. Yes we will see on Tuesday and we'll win. Progress is here and now not old stuffy ways.

  • Sure thing. I'll put your username down and be sure to contact you once the ruling is handed out.

Be certain that the court will not overturn the amendment. At worst all they will do is ignore it and say that the "marriages" that took place when they were allowed are still considered valid, but none after the date of enactment will be.

Kenn Starr is a sharp guy though. Perhaps he convinced those four rats in black robes to uphold the will of the people completely.

  • Hey Hunter. Tuesday has come and gone, and it looks like Prop 8 is upheld!

What happened? I thought you said that your side was going to win.

Well it looks like I WON. I called this perfectly. I said yesterday that they would not overturn Prop 8, but that they would also state that the same-sex "marriages" performed before that were valid.

I was right and you were wrong. Believe it!

  • Doesn't mean you were right. And hasn't the majority been wrong before ? Uh... George Bush... HITLER...

  • I was right about the court ruling and how they would rule.

And actually the majority didn't elect Bush in 2000. He won the electoral college vote but lost the popular vote. But I get what you're saying.

Democracy isn't perfect, but it is the political method most likely to result in a positive outcome, and it is the most fair. It has some bad points, but in America that is countered by the Constitution and our representative system of government.

  • Yeah. Obviously, no system is perfect, but its our (your, I'm not American) job as the public to continue pushing for the better, for the just. Legal discrimination is something we need to fix. Anyway, I'm in a shitty mood, because we lost a soccer game, lol, so tah.

  • I agree that we need to fix legalized prejudices such as affirmative action or hate crime legislation for example, but the thing we differ on is what constitutes prejudice. Setting marriage policy is not prejudicial, and neither is constitutionally defining it.

  • This is a list of those that have legalized/recognize same sex marriage. Get a helmet because your traditions are in the toilet and going down fast.

Canada,Mexico, Connecticut, District of Columbia, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Iowa, Oregon, Washington, California, Belgium

    Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany

Hungary, Iceland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, South Africa.

  • What other countries do don't mean stink to me. Other countries allow polygamist, child/adult, and even human/animal "marriage". So stick same-sex "marriage" with the rest of that phony balogna.

Some of the states you mention only allow civil unions. Others only recognize out of state "marriages". The only states where it is allowed are CT, IA, MA, ME, and VT. Those people are probably stuck with it and will just have to wait for the federal marriage amendment.

  • And the list keeps growing!

  • go jump a bridge

  • well i think that gays and lesbians should be allowed to get married, i love gays and they should have every single right that we straight people do.

its not fair if two guys who are in love cant get married.

    love not hate.

    peace

  • Well then your opinion shows you're a bigot, uneducated, and ignorant of sociology and human sexuality. Your idea that gay people are victims of sexual assault is utterly ridiculous & you'll not find any evidence of this view anywhere. And sex/making love doesn't require playing the male/female role. That's narrow-minded ignorant hetero thinking.

If being gay is a "perversion", then how do you explain the countless species of "perverted" animals who engage in homosexuality & gay relationships?

  • yo why you guys all pissed at the prop 8 lol just cause you cant marry? you still can live together and live happy lives straight or gay. just chill.

  • It's because marriage provides over 1,000 separate rights which gay people do not have. It is unconstitutional to deny one group of people rights that another group is given. This amounts to SPECIAL rights for heterosexuals.

And marriage isn't the only injustice. In many states, you can be kicked out of a business/store just because you're gay, you can be evicted from your home simply because the landlord finds out you're gay, you can be fired from a job just for being gay, etc., etc.

  • If you think being gay is wrong then dont be gay, but stop pushing it on others.

  • It's totally natural. Homosexuality in animals proves it. God DID create gay people, always has, always will. Denying equal rights (including marriage) to gay people is wrong immoral & unamerican, just as it was to deny equal rights due to skin color. Gay sex is no more sinful than str8 sex.

You're what's referred to as a "bigot", and there's no reason your having been born str8 makes you deserving of more rights than a gay person. Hets deserve no special rights simply because they're a het.

  • Did some research poll from the internet tell you that there are gay animals. You can't believe everything you read on the internets.

  • What??? I can 't understand what you're saying. Is English not your primary language?

  • OK I see what you're saying now (this shows why proper punctuation is necessary).

Read the book "Biological Exuberance" by Bruce Bagemihl, Ph.D. (very thick book). His research (among others) shows homosexuality among animals & insects is perfectly normal.

Also just do a search for "animal homosexuality" & "insect homosexuality" here on Youtube. There are more vids proving animal/insect homosexuality here than you can imagine. So it's not some crazy theory, it's very well proven & documented.

  • im tired of fighting for prop 8 i don't care anymore they shoud be allowed to marry if they want. Isn't a free country a place where you can marry who you want believe what you want and be allowed to.

  • Comment removed

  • i agree with you 100 percent. The problem is that gays will be allowed to marry eventualy because people are turning imoral and eventualy something worse will get passed like a man being allowed to have 2 wifes. For example polygamists are fighting to be allowed to hgave multiply wifes in canada using teh argument that gays are allowed to get married why not us.

  • No, gays will be allowed to marry eventually not because society is "turning immoral," but because society is beginning to understand that being gay is normal, and denying equal rights to an entire group of people based on something they're born with is wrong, immoral, unethical, and unamerican.

We already fought the polygamist battle back when Utah became a state (did you not read your history in high school??). That issue was decided a century and a half ago.

    (con't.)

  • (con't.)

Canada isn't the U.S., & polygamists' trying to pass marriage there just because gay people were granted equal marriage rights has no bearing on US law. We cannot allow religious wackos to dictate civil law. Even if Canada allows marriage to a tuna fish, thats no reason why hets should be allowed special rights here, so polygamy will not become legal here. Polygamy' a LIFESTYLE & it's a CHOSEN lifestyle too. Being gay is CONGENITAL (you're born with it) & is not a lifestyle or chosen.

  • This video is beautiful I think it is repulsive how prop 8 passed I mean, I have no IDEA what goes on in even my closest friends house and I don't give a shit! so why can't too people marry that you will probably NEVER MEET and have their life that wont affect you AT ALL! And if your excuse is "we don't hate the gay, we hate the sin" then just leave them alone and have them be judged by God who BTW isn't real in my opinion...Seriously...

  • we dont hate the gay, we hate the sin

  • Those 2 things have nothing to do with each other.

  • and how so?

  • Being gay isn't a sin. Just because something's in the Bible doesn't mean it's true. Be open-minded and tolerant for once.

  • not to sound ignorant but being open minded all the time will make u stupid

  • I KNEW YOU WERE GAY!!!!!!

  • quit spamming this, it isnt even true, the vote was not legitimate it violated the 14th amendment.

  • Wow not legitimate. To think thousands of lawyers, politicians & legal expert with years of training, education & experience were so negligent. Too bad they didnt just ask you, the expert, for the answer. You couldve saved all these gays from getting their panties in knots & their cheap mascara melting with their crocodile tears.

  • the 14th amendment states that once granted a right cannot be taken away from any person or people without due process.

  • No I disagree with you. The courts violated the constitution by stealing the peoples vote. Stop giving this bullshit double talk about the constitution, you know you and your four stalinist judge buddies violated it by overturning prop 22 and stealing the votes of 7 million people. Domocracy doesn't mean of the judges and for the judges. So I suggest you actually grasp a full understanding of the constitution, before posting such stupid statements. That's my opinion

  • civil rights issues have never been put to a vote before this because it is the majority is not allowed to take/not give rights from/to a minority. Also, a belief in equal rights does not make somebody Stalinist.

  • No when a vote violates an amendment in the constitution and the judges overturn it, thats checks and balances, a keystone in our representative democracy.

  • Would you consider brother/sister or father/daughter sex/marriage wrong? Its called INCEST. It's a "natural" way two people can express their sexual love for one another. It doesnt hurt anyone. Its always a ONE PARTNER relationship. Its strictly a sexual/love relationship. Would you care what two loving people do in the privacy of their own bedroom? Certainly if you are open minded enough to accept "same sex" relationships, you will be open minded to same family loving relationships.

  • Article 1, section 1 of the state constitution declared certain fundamental rights to be inalienable. In its decision in In Re Marriage Cases, the California Supreme Court declared these inalienable rights including the liberty right of same-sex couples to marry, and the equality right of gays and lesbians, a suspect class, to receive the same rights and status provided by law to heterosexual couples.

  • In order for a right to be inalienable, that would mean the right would have had to preexist the state. The right to life liberty preexisted the existence of the United States, because God gave those rights. States don't give inalienable rights, God does, and God did not give gays the right to be gay let alone to get married. Our inalienable rights can be found (don't read this you will freak) IN THE BIBLE!

Inalienable rights come from God not from the Supreme Court of California

  • Thank You

  • Ok, I got into that mania of watching your videos, it took me long time ;') so far I enjoy them. You've got great ideas and even these awkward ones are cool "Speakin' ass" hahah, God...

Wow its really awesome that you decided to include this video! Thanks man and take care.

P.S. Be proud of what you're doin', your videos took many hours from my life as well as from anybody else's lives. Gotta admit it is worth it!

  • im not gay and im a christian baptist.

but i believe LGTBQ people should

have the right to marry. do whatever

you want to this comment. put as many

thumbs down.. but these are my beliefs.

  • That is complete bullshit, they merely want to be able to marry... thats it, they arent trying to forces people to be gay or anything, you are the bigot not them.

  • Thanks, supricky. It's you and people like you that give me hope that some day, bigoted laws and propositions like these will not exist -- hopefully in my lifetime.

  • Fuck all this god shit, I studied the bible and found it all to be a bunch of shit. If you feel the need to worship it anyway then do it, but leave our legal system out of it.

  • Fuck you, and your religion of big government and liberalism

  • I have no religion, and by the way over the past 50 or so years the gov has only expanded under a rep.

  • That's right you have no religion, like I said before, the gays, liberals and atheist are all about throwing their non religious views on others. Simply argue that all my beliefs are religious and none of yours are as a valid reason your vote counts and mine does not is not going to work. Cut the bullshit yourself, you are trying to force your "non religion" on everyone else. Not happening, and I'm prepared to fight a civil war to make sure it doesn't happen.

  • I am not pushing my views on anyone, you are. By telling people they cannot get married because it is wrong according to your religion is pushing your views on others. I am saying live and let live, exactly the opposite of pushing my views on others.

  • Oh really, I'm pushing my religion on others? I worked with many people of many religions to pass prop 8. It wasn't just my religion. You corrupt the doctrine of separation of church and state, Thomas Jefferson started the idea, and he also wrote the law in Virginia that made is so those practicing sodomy would be punished by castration. Get your facts right. And yes, you are trying to cram your views into the lives of the rest of us. That's how liberals are in general, & fags are liberal

  • You obviously have no clue what you are saying. You say you worked with people of other religions yet you dont say who, and i doubt you asked what religion people were before you started working with them, and of course there are going to be a few exceptions, however the vast majority of funding and support for prop 8 came from christians.

  • Christianity is not a religion bub, it is a tradition. According to the law Catholicism is a religion, Mormonism is a religion, the Baptist church is a religion.

I'm guessing you are doing the liberal rewrite of what religion is for your gain. Nope I'm not playing your stupid game loser

  • no each of those are sects of the broader christian title, it is a religion.

  • Also, you say I corrupt the doctrine of separation of church and state but cannot say how, and you say Thomas Jefferson passed a law that doesnt exist today and is moot anyhow because it is cruel/unusual punishment. Once more i am not pushing my views on others because if you are not gay you dont have to marry gay, however you are obviously pushing your views on others by saying I believe what you are doing is wrong therefore I am going to take away your rights.

  • The doctrine of cruel and unusual punishment was a doctrine created by Thomas Jefferson and others, not by liberal judges so when they said castrate the gays, that was not considered cruel and unusual. Nor is it now

  • You couldn't possibly be that ignorant. could you?

  • Denied equal rights? No one is being denied. The law on marriage is between a man and woman, which applies to everyone! Meaning even straight people can't marry with the same sex. Which changes the argument to, let homosexuals live their way of life and be happy. So if we are denying people to marry the same sex, we are taking away their happiness and it is wrong. Then I guess denying a person who finds happiness in being nude in public is wrong as well. I mean, who cares about other people.

  • That's very loving pillsbury09.

  • It's a shame the Californians have gone 2 steps back after going forward one step. Religious beliefs are fine, but why would they be written into law to bring another group of people down?

  • I find it funny that proponents and supporters of prop 8 actually think that they have won something, or that it won't go that same way of prop 22, right into the fire place.

  • Hey conservative hater, its not over by a long shot, you haven't want diddly.

  • Nope, hate to tell you this but there are still plenty of recourses to be taken, and prop 8 won't stand. You haven't won anything.

  • it is not over you asshole. no one is gonna lay down and be walked over by people who assume its right to take away others' rights. would you lie down and let people stop you from marrying your spouse? would you let people tell you no to letting you marry the person you love? would you allow people to stop you??? WOULD YOU???

  • I agress doodle, my friend was going to get married but since this prop 8 shazz she cant now.

Its basically saying that straight cant get married lol

  • thank you for agreeing with me. ^^

PROP 8 is disugsting..it really is. we just want equal rights. and we'll have them NOW.

  • I wish homosexuals would stop referring to people as "assholes" Thats like a straight man calling everyone a vagina! Just because gay men stick their penises in something that poop comes out of and is meant for out only doesn't mean you have to degrade people for your sexual gratification. We should not legalize something that is abnormal behavior. Yes straight people have anal sex but only a very small percentage of married couples. Homosexuals have no choice, they must pack fudge!

  • If straight people do it too, then it obviously isn't just a homosexual thing. There are lots of perversed ways of having sex, for all orientations, as vaginal sex is the correct form of it. Either way, you're saying they shouldn't marry because of what they do in bed? Not all of them have anal sex. They marry because they LOVE EACH OTHER. now if you're religious, it's a sin anyway to pass judgement, which you are doing.
