  • its there for 2 things, and one of them you did not say. its called a blood groove because when you bery it into sombody their muscles tighten really hard around it, and that groove fills up with AIR and makes and AIR pockets, allowing you to pull it out easier. i have the same modle right after it was remodeled in WW2. leather stacked washers, love it. the other purpose is to lighten it and give it better balance

  • Nice review thanks for the website so anoying to find one delivers to outside usa for cheap prices

  • Wered u get that sheath

  • Hvor kjøpte du den?

  • @kastek9v tomarskabars . com

  • Did your mom make you that sweater?:D

  • @JTadventures actually, no. Its a traditional Norwegian sweater from my passed away grandfather.

  • when you buy the non serrated version would you consider doing a review?

  • @NorgeJoe cool thanks :)

  • @DarkheartTheHeritic Majority of people like strait blades rather then serrated , the strait is badass and will last forever.. Even the short is an excellent knife if your lookin for something a bit smaller but still does work

  • Ka-Bar's Kraton is very firm. It won't wear down like Cold Steel's Kraton, which is softer and tackier.

  • The fuller is just to decrease weight. Often times alot of people think it will drain blood, but this is not true, they are thinking of stabbing with bamboo which is hollow and that will actually drain out blood.

  • You dont need no speacial tools to sharpen serrations..all you need is a round file EX: Chainsaw sharepener is what i use works wonders

  • @silvertondevil12 which are special tools ;)

not just a regular sharpening stone.

  • Well what i mean i guess is it aint hard to come by.Haha Nothin speacial bout a roundfile

  • cool, much better that the old vid...

  • @Joeskateapool thank you!

  • Whats better, the 1095 steel or the stainless steel with the next gen series? I was thinking stainless for less maintenance but I'm not sure.

  • I don't know. But there really isn't much maintenance with the 1095 steel. Some WD40 now and again after or before heavy use is all thats needed really. And don't store the knife in a damp humid basement or anything either.

  • 1095 is also more rugged, takes a good beating.the stainless is softer so may not take as much of a beating when it really counts..... 1095 holds a nice edge and sharpens back up very nicely. I like the 1095 unless you live in the jungle, too humid and rust will be a factor.

  • Thank you guys for your insight, I ended up getting a good 'ol marine corp kabar and so far its held up to everything thrown at it.

  • Nice! they really kick ass. I love mine to death. Defenitely a confidence builder for me when in the wilderness fishing in remote places.

  • I like Nutnfancy's review more.

  • well, he's a bit more of a "pro" than I am, lol...

  • well I just want a good all around knife,(utility and fighting mostly) I'm gonna have it on my Plate carrier btw

  • do you ever feel its too big?

i'm debating weather to get this or the 9in version

  • it all depends on what you're doing. Its small enough for you to widdle firekindling or whatever, but large enough to split wood with it too. I think its just the right size.

  • The fuller is for making the blade stiffer.

  • lol ...Im gonna get rid of the serrations because it gets in the way when i knife people in call of duty

  • lmao

  • nice. love the plastic sheath myself but love the serrations too. but then again we both do diff things with our knives lol. nice vids they're getting better with intro's and exits. we should make you a title sequence lmao
