@92mustangmug Practice rounds are $50 per day. Tournament rounds are $75 per day. You have to apply online for random drawing at "Masters [dot] com" and hope you get lucky. 2012 is already sold out.
@16bigred That's pretty accurate. He was setup down the left side for a fade and was fairly laid off at the top with a somewhat bowed left wrist back then, so swing path was definitely going a little left. When he didn't clear his body well enough, maybe due to knee issues, he was susceptible to closing the face and pulling it.
@hermanwilliamsgolf In my opinion it would have been for Tiger not to take it inside so much..when you practice it enough it tends to become second nature and then you sometimes overdo it...why so many blocks and his tempo was everywhere.
@hermanwilliamsgolf In my opinion it would have been for Tiger not to take it inside so much..when you practice it enough it tends to become second nature and then you sometimes overdo it...why so many blocks and his tempo was everywhere. And if he had the top position of 2:14 (slightly shorter backswing) and a more controlled quiet follow through he wouldnt miss much and be long...if not longer
Good, informed commentary, relaxed style of filming, nothing intrusive. A nice snapshot of the bit 'before' the competition. I hope you can do something similar for this year's event because this is well-made, there is no bias and you are conveying informative information without sounding condescending or too analytical. I wish the TV channels would do something like this for the Preview shows.
@malcs0 thanks - I hope to get back down there again this year for a repeat. My teaching schedule is really full right now but I'm going to try to sneak down there for one day and see what kind of footage I can get. Stay tuned.
@hermanwilliamsgolf I know...that usually signifies the "official" start of golf in Pennsylvania...hopefully you will get back there again and do a 2011 version of your video. Try to get some Dustin Johnson on there this year! haha...I also watches some of your swing tip videos...you do a great job keeping it simplified, yet educational. Thanks again.
Some of those guys in this video are for sure not even swinging 105 mph. Or at lease it doesn't look like it. Like the Nathan guy. What do you think herman?
lol evryone here playing big 460cc titanium drivers . i switch back to the titleist 975 J steel shaft and i can carry it a good 280 yards , super drive.
why can't any manufacture of golf shoes make any good looking shoes? i know ecco makes the most comfortable shoes i have ever worn but they are so fugly
These are some of the best videos i've seen on here. Thank you so much for posting them (and I hope that by the end of today we'll have an Englishman wearing the green jacket!!)
