The GA-EP45-DS3R is discontinued, so I just plan on getting the GA-EP45-DS3L. Is everything essentially the same? If so, can you help me out with patch links and stuff?

do u need to install windows first to install mac? or u just plugin the usb dongle efix unit and pop in the osx cd?

You don't need windows at all. Once you have the EFIX you can boot from the OSX retail disc and install.
