yes, considering the fact of that "germans" being inhuman creatures during that time and their cowardly "blitzkrieg", they wouldnt be a culture anymore.

anyway where did u get these models?

  • 3a podinu

  • niccceee :D

  • what scale is it?

  • Now you need some Polikarpov I-16's and I-153's!

  • Za Rodinu! Nikagda nezamrznem! Davai, davai! Vpiryot! Vpiryot!

  • I really like how you got the wear down on the Yak-9T winter camo! Nice!!! :D

    3a CCCP! :)

  • i simply used much thinnes white enamel.. to do weathering and enhance the lines, I use the same method, only in grey;-)

  • I recomend that you sub to this channel, as I will be posting my modelvideos here, if I'll be posting any at all! At least then you won't miss them.. Did some work on the 'Huckebein' this morning! Modelling s about the only thing I enjoy at the moment.. :I

  • Yes, they conquered us Germans.

  • No not really, they only won because they had more infantry. If Germans had the same amount as Russia well lets say that Russia wouldnt be a culture any more XD

  • Migtacular

  • Wow, much love for Mig-3 and Yak-9T.

I hate to say it but I find Revell paint to be very poor. I don't know what alternatives you have in Germany? Humbrol paint in the UK is a classic and very good enamel (email?) paint, I wonder if you can order it?

  • I expected you'd like them.. the Yak is an !Aces" plane (apart from the camo).

I'm a bit oldfashioned, I do not order anything, only buy what I can get, and sometimes I come across Humbrol. But I think in the hands of a skilles modeler it does not make a big difference. My fav shop is converting to acrylic paint, which I will have to some time...

  • Acrylic seems even less flexible than enamel :( Not room for mistakes I think...

Who is the Yak ace in question?

  • Acrylics is a pain.. Xtracrylcs is good, but a pain all the same.. Revell paints is much more difficult to use, I agree, than Humbrol.. but on occasion, like on the AVIA, I have to use them, if it's the only shade I have that is correct.. :P

  • Ja! Also (alzo?) the revell metals 'steel' and 'aluminium' dry in approx 2mins! Wouldn't use any other metal paints...

  • Ach, for that supersmooth silver finish nothing beats the Humbrol 11.. two coats.. :) and I've just read what I wrote above,, I used Xtracrylics on the AVIA, not Revell.. :)

  • Superb!!! :) Now I have to get one.. but it'll have to wait a while, though.. :)
