When I first read through this part of the manga, back when that chapter first came out, I was genuinely terrified. This monsterous form seemed something almost alien, in that it felt like it was something that didn't belong in the Bleach universe. Something far too terrifying to exist, something so different, that gazing upon it is enough to make the blood run cold. It's like it didn't belong.

Non-filler Tite Kubo bleach is genuinely entertaining, I actually like Ginjo and Tsukishima's designs, they are refreshingly normal compared to what we are used to seeing.
