  • wow... I fall in love with the Catholic Liturgy all over again when I hear such a beautiful performance... thank you! As an organist for a small chapel where hardly any of the congregation sing, these kind of youtubers keep my spirits up!!! :D

  • Buenísimo!!

  • Miserere mei Deus!

  • GREAT!

  • Great !

  • Mediocre, per non dire altro!

  • you have such a beautiful voice! I love and miss this prayer! You knew it was Easter when this song was played! Thank you!

  • It's not sung in Easter. In Paschal time the church sungs the "Vidi Aquam".

  • Actually yes it is. It is sung during the Easter season. Sung usually on Easter Sunday after the renewal of baptismal promises. I know this for I do work in the church and ever since I can remember we've used it then.

  • You may use it, but it is certainly inapropriate. As I said before, in Paschal time (including the Easter Sunday itself) the Church sings the Vidi Aquam during aspersion before Mass.

You can confirm this by looking at a Missale Romanum.

  • Thank you for making these--they help the chant choir in the church I attend to learn the music better. God bless you.

  • I can't understand what your saying sorry. haha any body tell me?

  • It's Latin.

  • Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. (Asperges me, Domine, hysoppo, et mundabor: lavabis me, et super nivem dealbabor.)

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion ...

  • Excellent! I love to hear traditional Catholic chant! Job well done.. great voice!

  • Asperges me, Domine, hysoppo, et mundabor: lavabis me, et super nivem dealbabor.(Ps. 51,9) Miserere mei, Deus, secundum magnam misericordiam tuam.

  • Wow...you can sing really good!

This vid is perfect to learn it how to sing

  • Una Santa Católica Apostólica e Romana

A Igreja Única e verdadeira fundada por Cristo

  • GOD BLESS YOU.

  • This is excellent. PLEASE keep recording more from the Latin Mass! Wonderful talent, beuatiful sound, EXCELLENT Latin pronunciation!

  • You havea great voice- I'm jealous =D

Seriously though, great job man. We need more people who can do sacred music well.

  • ..very talented musician...god bless him...i would love to hear vidi aquam which is sung instead during paschal time ....please let me know someone ...

  • nice performance:)i was in mass service and i keen on this music

  • beautiful, nice big clear voice!

  • This is a friend of mine Eric Ramos, he is the music director at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Peoria,Az. This is him warming up for schola practice. There are a couple of rough spots since he's making up the organ accompaniment as he's playing from chant notation. I'm hoping to get him to do chant instruction videos that I can post here.

  • That would be great, information like this is needed. If he knows of any good books for organ accompaniment that would help us all too! Chant books are easy to find but not organ.

  • Going forward, after each chant Eric will comment on the accompaniment. He'll get some resources together for the organ. Unfortunately there's not a lot out there, most of what Eric has are out of print stuff given to him by old Priests and nuns. I hope to post some performance level chant by Eric soon, with a very good organist accompanying him.

  • I would definitely love to see that!

  • What a coincidence. The St. Carrolus Boromeus church in Antwerp/Belgium (where the famoius painter Rubens lies buried) also still celebrates the real Roman Mass.
