Love the video, just a couple questions hope you answer.. I'm 14 and it is my goal/dream to make professional soccer I need some tips on how to train by myself I am good and I know I can make it if I try and I am making a time table for training, I just wonder if u can help me make this table I will subscribe if u help and share this vid
@MrRealMixer most of my videos are designed for teaching players how to train on their own outside of team training so they will all help you. Watch the "30 Minute Training" videos I post. There's about 20 of them so far, they are good individual sessions for you.
I'm 14 I plan on tryeying out for the Chicago fire u15 youth academy, I got better skill and ball control than most players that are going to try out, but I'm REALLy outta shape and too slow. Got any tips on how to get fit FAST in 3 weeks? If u reply I'll subscribe
@MrSuperbeaner23 good luck at tryouts! For fitness and a stamina video, click the "View All OSA Videos" button on your Online Soccer Academy profile (it's free, sign up if you are not a member) and then search for the "Soccer Fitness Tempo Runs" video. That will help a lot! Also the 30 Minute Training Sessions have a lot of fitness with the ball built into them so do those too. Or search them all on youtube.
@MrSuperbeaner23 For tryout advice, click the "View All OSA Videos" button on your Online Soccer Academy profile (it's free, sign up if you aren't a member) and then search for the video titled "Soccer Tryouts Advice - Soccer Tips". That will help you a lot. Then go out and practice! Or search that video on youtube.
I am 13 and on a local team. I seem to get tired out a lot faster than my teammates. How could I train for stamina. Also, do you have any defending tips?
@MrRhinoStampede watch my OSA video tilted "Soccer Tempo Runs" and that will help with your fitness. Also do a lot of my 30 minute training videos. Those have fitness built into ball work. For defending videos I have a few. Best thing to do is sign up for the Online Soccer Academy (it's free) then click "View All OSA Videos" button on your profile and then select the "Defending" category to see all the defending videos!
Hey, mate. Question: When I practice with bare foot I have better technique than playing wiht cleats. Should I start practicing with cleats? (Sorry for the grammar mistakes)
@masterfiro65 I'd say start practicing with cleats since you play games in cleats, not barefoot. This way you will get more comfortable in cleats and that will translate better to better game performances!
@Kufuff welcome to soccer/football! Hope you've been having fun training! My tips are to start working on your technique for dribbling, shooting, passing and juggling. Also watch my speed of play videos. For shooting and making crosses I have videos on those subjects. Search my channel for them. Have fun and good luck!
Urmm , im 14 and my dream is to be a pro footballer , but my town doesnt have much football club , currently , im training with a local team and school team , sometimes i doubt myself , can i make it to the top ? My parents said that it's too late for me to be a pro since i started playing last year .. So can i really be a footballer with lots of practice , i lose my confident everytime i think about this .
@ChelseaMrTorres I can not answer your question if you can make it to the top. Only you can. Can you make it to the top? Remember if you Believe in it® and back that up with hard work, anything in life is possible. There was a player, Danny Cruz, that started for the Houston Dynamo in the MLS Cup final this year. He started playing at 13. Believe in yourself, have fun improving and go after what you want in life!
@OnlineSoccerAcademy Wow , you're very inspiring mann ! Thanks alot ! Urmm , my parents asked me to concentrate more on my academics , enter uni , so can i study while playing football in university ? And danny cruz started at 13 ? So starting late doesnt really matter ?
@ChelseaMrTorres Anything is possible bro! We are sharing the same dream, i am 13 i started playing like 5 months ago. i also loose my confidence sometimes. But desire is the key for everything :D
excuse me, a vid on building stamina will be awesome. im really good at playing soccer, and have an average agility and used all your speed key points, but could'nt stay long enough..
How to you practice soccer and stay fit here in Alberta? It just snowed! I'm on a futsal (indoor gym soccer) intramural team and drop in futsal on weekends, but im hardly getting any fitness or skill training in on my own, I feel like I'm really out of shape, and my skills are decent but there's always room for improvement, what should I do? (I've been doing some pushups, bicep curls (every other day), excercise biking, and ab training (on the opposite days) at home but that's about it)
@zmojofoot76 if it's really bad and not going away you need to tell your parents right away and consult with a doctor. You could just be dehydrated or you didn't eat enough food today and your malnourished. Some people drink pickle juice for cramps! Maybe try a bit of that! Hope it goes away!
@brianruiz123456 yeah, get a Google calendar ( you can get one for free with a Gmail address) and start scheduling time for training and school work each day and stick to your schedule. Academics come first, then soccer.
HI jared im stuck im playing hs soccer this year n im not sure if i should play jv again or go on varsity ive been told i could play varsity and i believe i can but some on jv that still r going to play jv said that u dont want to be benched but when im around better people i become better and i think i could play varsity without being benced bcus first there arent that many guys as last year 2nd i got better 3rd i do pretty good playing around them
@zmojofoot76 my opinion is play around the most competitive environment you can and if you can play on varsity go for it. i got cut from my hs team this year and im a freshman but the coaches advice to me was what i just told you
awesome! hey man i have a problem..India doesn't support football that much they are always into cricket -___- u know you I feel don't you.. And i want to be a pro! so what should i do?
@jofi107 ha same me to but i guess you have to because you can get injured so bad in soccer and you could never play again and then you have now education so soon you would become poor
@MrCTR360 my advice would be to do soccer/football first, then make time for your homework. It's all about time management and spending your time wisely. Go to Gmail (dot) com, set up a gmail address and then use their Google Calendar feature, it will help you manage your time and it's free.
@fznutmeg83 good for you for training hard. Don't forget, like the video said, a little break and a couple of rest days a week are good for you. Be careful not to over train. Love your attitude though!
It takes a few weeks to get fit. It takes years to have an amazing first touch and vision for the game. I couldn't agree with you more. However, what you said gave me a realizing moment. Where I've practiced and played, fitness is hugely emphasized even in the U12/13 levels. It seems long term development isn't so much the key anymore..
@footballrepertoire well, it should be. You can't control what your coaches have you do. But for you personally when you are training; think technique over fitness. Don't get me wrong, you have to be fit to play but being fit is the easy part.
Season just ended and next year I WILL play varsity, that's my goal. I want to be a leader, and a better player than I was this year, in touch, left foot, speed of movement, speed of play and moves. 5 days a week I train, with various running for distance and sprinting, then I lift weights for a different muscle group each day, then i do stuff with a ball for 30-45 minutes. I use your 30 minute training videos for drill ideas and scheduling my workouts a lot!! Keep up the vids Jared great work!!
@Pry0citerJohn I like that... "I WILL". That's the attitude you need to have (just don't get cocky, not saying you are, just saying). Remember to do a higher percentage of ball work then fitness. I will keep the vids up, you keep training hard, having fun and improving!
@OnlineSoccerAcademy Yeah of course, when people get cocky, they don't try as hard and arent good team players. Yeah I've really grown to like soccer this year and I wanna keep that up through my future years hopefully with help from you and your great vids.
so ill do, 2 times at the football pitch and 2-3 times on the street 1-2 hrs a day, what should i work on? if i play LM or LB? also Saturday And Sunday I Play for my club, i train 2 hours on saturdays, im 13 years old, i would like it if you could write me a week training plan and send it to my hotmail.
@iGeorgiePorgie watch the video again. It tells you an example of a practice you can do. A 30 minute training session, 15 minutes of chip practice, then 15 minutes of juggling. That's a one hour session. I can't personalize it and email it to you, sorry. You can be creative and come up with a session yourself based on all the videos I do for you. They will help guide you!
@iGeorgiePorgie I hear ya, 1-2 times a week training isn't enough. I said 1-2 times a week for you to play at your field that was 20 minutes away if that is hard to get too. Then the rest of the time you train near your house in tennis shoes. I use to play on a team that was 2.5 hours away from me when I was a teenager. 1 day a week I trained with the team. The other days I trained on my own. You will figure it out if you want it bad enough.
@Y0UallDUM cool, indoor soccer is good in the offseason too. Just make sure you do some work on your individual game as well. Offseason is a great time to improve your individual game like ball control, shooting and speed of play.
@FingerMyFinger I agree with @thedavidnator10 it helps improves your touches and ball control. Do you think you will have better ball control and be a better player if you can juggle 500 times versus a player that can juggle only 10 times? I would say you would be better. Juggling helps.
@iGeorgiePorgie then I would say 1-2 times a week see if you can get a ride to the fields. The rest of the time play some street soccer in tennis shoes on a safe part of the street, don't play in traffic. You will figure it out if you want to train bad enough, be creative.

But because i haven't trained a lot of football before, I ain't as good as i wanna be.
Do you have any tip on how I can get up to my friends level. Like, how do i train to shoot harder or how do i train to make cross passes? Please help.
