  • Great singer, great songwriter. Had the immense pleasure of working with him for nearly 10 years. A good friend and much undiscovered.

  • I had the immense pleasure and privelege of working with Frankie for nearly 10 years. Amazing singer and songwriter. And I could almost beat him at poole. Last count, I believe there are at least 100 covers of his songs, including a duet of Johnny Cash and WIllie Nelson singing "I'll Always Love You In My Own Crazy Way.

  • Superb mate,

Thanks for taking the effort to produce and share this..

    I luv it...

    come see my contributions...

    cheers

  • great version of this tune

  • I love Frankie's voice on the only song he did with Paul Kossoff (RIP) : "I know why the sun don't shine"

It tears my soul when I hear Koss playing those chords and Frankie's tremolo on that song.

  • The guitarist is mega. Who is he?

  • Ed Deane great Irish player. eddeane. com

This is such a great rockin song.

Never got the recognition he should have ...

    the Best

  • Frankie has the most soulful voice of ANY singer.Proud he is Scottish.

    He deserves far more recognition.

  • the great band nazareth did a cover of this one for a fm tribute album a few years back....check em out

  • GREAT DRUMMER, MALCOLM MORTIMORE...ALSO CHECK OUT HIS PLAYING WITH SPIKE HEATLEY,at the usual myspace address.

  • This is so cool to discover for the first time. I dig this era and the passion and energy in the music. A bit like Humble Pie's Steve Marriott

who is my favorite. check out my song too. kathena (the hippy nuts)

  • Frankie Miller was one of Stevie Marriotts fav vocalists

  • thanks for the reply. wow. i'll have to research Frankie more now.

did he precede Steve or were they about the same time?

  • A wee bit MOR but Frankie's voice still shines through.
