Last count, I believe there are at least 100 covers of his songs, including a duet of Johnny Cash and WIllie Nelson singing "I'll Always Love You In My Own Crazy Way.

I love Frankie's voice on the only song he did with Paul Kossoff (RIP) : "I know why the sun don't shine"
It tears my soul when I hear Koss playing those chords and Frankie's tremolo on that song.
