  • Im so glad I have been sober and drug free for years now. I too was on a collision course of no pulling up. I sometimes would have welcomed death over the destruction I was causing my family, that I was to blind to see. Prison, jails, tears, and a death spiral all failed to open my eyes and then one day I got sick of being sick and just stopped it all. I lost some friends but gained a life. Now I have to deal with a bad case of hepatitus c. I now have a grandson I can watch grow up-sweet!

  • I don't think her death is as sad (or important) as it was with Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Elivis Presley, & even Princess Diana.

  • @kiheitek100 i'm sure to her family it was worse than all of those combined. comparing people's deaths.. really classy.

  • her managers shouldve never let her get on stage like that no matter how much money. it just shows the lack of concern on their part.

  • She looks so stoned in this video, it sad she had to die so young.

  • This is clearly a voice-over. I'd love to find out who REALLY sang in this video. Although I won't speak ill of the dead either. " Amy Winehouse " was too young to die and I hope that her antecedent will do better, in honor of her.

  • @NecroticNeurotic what do u mean "Voiceover"? This is noit the song to the video, but it is Def.Amy singing and a video of her in background!..RIP

  • She'is little girl.

  • I feel like she knew it was the end.. This is so powerful.

  • It has been said...alcohol is a powerful lover. It can become more important than family, friends, job and, ultimately, life. It can eventually kill you from the inside. I lost my dad to alcoholism...oh, he lived into his 70's but was lost to me nonetheless. I was SO praying for Amy to overcome her demons, but alas, they stole her soul then her life. I miss her voice and am so sad I will never again hear her on anything other than a recording

  • Its great that you posted this....I know from experience the hell of opiates, or any dope.

If alcohol makes you feel whole- then stay away. I am 52. I have been very successful.

Opiates have almost killed me several times- smack, oc s whatever. Learn to cope

I have yet to learn to cope. If you dont walk through the fire and learn to cope

the fire will burn you up...

  • this is to sad to watch

  • You are never know which is her last cry

  • Great =)

  • May God bless her! she was reaching out for a while. I use to watch footage of her concerts and made for T.V. jam sessions. This damaged angel needed help waaaaayyyy before this. I went to a concert in London while I was stationed somewhere in around there and what I saw was a shell of a soul. Her voice was so strong you would now nothing was wrong! To look at her body was a different story. I just pray she's in a better place than this ,she's singing with the best of them, and she's happy!

  • mi dispiace davvero tanto

  • Listen to her. There is a beautiful voice in there.

  • Fucking sad! I love you Amy and Whitney!

  • i never knew her music when she was alive. <3 you, Amy

  • RIP xx

  • I know what you're trying to tell us. Remember her from her hights, not from her lows. Well done.

  • :(

  • DRUGS AND ALCOHOL ARE NOT A JOKE. It destroys so many people and those who love them. We will miss your creativity AMY.

  • Disculpa pero ella se llama Amy...

  • she wasnt crying! she was just wiping her nose and putting her hands on her face cos of the drugs...Rest in peace amy...love you xx

  • She really had a special talent. It's so sad that not many of us knew of it until she died. The way she sang this song was exceptional.

  • this breaks my heart..i can't watch without crying...r.ip amy ...u were a true diamond in the rough.

  • Such a beautiful song...

  • @keliciousify Yes! I watched The Rose so many times! It is uncanny, except that "Rose" collapsed and died right there on the stage. Amy was at the end of herself here and totally baffled at why she can't just STOP! I have been sober for 4 years now and that question haunted me for 25 years. "Why..why do I keep doing this?" I would always blow it at the absolute worst time, leaving horrible devastation in my wake! I was blessed, one of the lucky ones...I miss you Amy and, I get it. Rest little g

  • thank god for making drugs

  • Now let me say i dont mind about the controversity of sound and film.

Death is natural, we are made of stardust and someday we all be stardust again before the storys are starting again.

Todays Musicindustrie is a horrible buiseness and the fans?

Everyone in these wrong going concerts knew what was going on, noone cared realy.

The Show must go on and they wanted their money back ...

Life fast, die young or aftr all: dont die in a lonely bed!

    RIP Amie

  • doesn't this remind you of someone else we knew, but this particular video is almost uncanny in that it reminds me of "TheRose" w/Bette Midler. remember that anyone?

  • @keliciousify idk how old you are(to the one who created this video and put the music to it, but I wonder if you subconsciously arranged in such a way. regardless, was nice nice song and so sad.)

  • god gave you a voice to sing to inhance our lifes and you blew it for the fuckin sak of dope or what ever, you first sang with out it. and u worked hard for it,and u fucked up by dying and leaving us with nothing but what could of been

  • fucking drugs.fucking men dropping those angels to drugs may burn their souls to hell. rest in peace amy.

  • wow a shining star that faded to soon amy rip

  • qué triste estabas, amy... cuánto amor nos queda por conquistar

  • The greatest singer

  • I scrolled the movie away and listened. Then I liked it. Its not right to keep showing that Belgrade thing. We know what went wrong. Lets focus on the talent, please!

  • When an artist cries while performing, you know they are hurting and pouring their soul into what they do.

  • what a shame,,,,beautiful young woman with amazing talent,,gone too soon,,very sad. May GOD bless her aching heart

  • RIP BABY WINOO

  • instead of singing and praising "i said no no no to rehab" she should of said and sung "I SAID NO NO TO DRUGS AND ALCOHOL"

simple DO NOT EVEN TRY IT! why try it when one knows the dangers of it?

i don't care if you are in love, under pressure etc etc bla bla bla...people are having real issues in the world today ...i don't care if one thinks Amy was talented and could sing...but whats a dead singer to a person with no talent and yet alive? saying NO!!!! makes you smart and talented and rich

  • Thank ou for this-- you did a good thing

  • Amy Jade, I love you anyway<3 We all do!

  • Her voice is so magical, so.. I can't even say, I will forever love you Amy, may you rest in peace, what a voice.

  • I've been listening compulsively this week to a singer who died at the age of 33 from melanoma, Eva Cassidy. She had a beautiful voice. Sang her heart out. Died because she couldn't stay alive. Contrast that to Amy Winehouse, who... frankly, had it all by the balls but couldn't help but tug too hard. Sang well. Not genuinely with soul. I'm sure her parents are extremely upset, as was Ms. Cassidy's. It's always sad, heartbreaking to lose young people. But one asked for it. And one accepted it.

  • NOOOO NOOOO YOUR NOT EDITING THIS OUT SHE WAS SINGING DRUNK AHAHAHAHA

  • WASTED TALENT!:(

  • I MISS YOU AMY!

    i love you..U.U

  • What version of the song is this? I can't find it on iTunes but it's my favorite version. Simple and great.

  • @thedexterbros - Type 'love is a losing game october' into the search bar. It's the first video that comes up.. Am sure you'll feel even more strongly about this version after you see the live studio recording... It's obvious she poured her whole heart and soul into it... Regards

  • @thepeoplemover888 Thanks a lot. All the best.

  • I miss u Amy , R.I.P my little angel,and sing with the angels 4ever .

    Sorry 4 my english guys...

    regards from Brazil!

  • nope, never moved me at all, why do people insist on putting entertainers on pedastles,

it's like elvis, lennon, lady di and others, people think they know them but they don't, fact is

amy met the wrong guy who got her on drugs and fucked her up completely, now she's gone, end of story. feeling sad for her is in reality feeling sorry for yourself, she's in a better place now.

  • i could listen to her sing all day. she was the real deal. why is it that we generally have or had so much compassion for another great talent janis joplin yet people have been so cruel and thoughtless about Amy. is it a sighn of the times? either way im sure she will be appreciated more and more once the sensationalism wears of and we focus more on the person the talent and what she left behind.RIP Amy.r

  • 4got Ms. Fitzgerald.

  • Don't trip. She was (could have defintely been) 1 of the greats. Despite the disease she is up there IMHO with Nancy W., Billy H., Etta J., Dinah W., Nina S., Sarah V., hell even Striesand, Franklin, Ross. She just let her influences get the best of her and didn't stay focused on her art (I suppose she had her personal reasons...). Sad.

  • Hey guys. I am a school teacher. but the most important thing is...I am an alcoholic. I miss amy because she made me feel again. This disease is ...you know what...I will take Amy's stand...fuck him and fuck her too...

  • @jakob29club - Thanks for being so honest. That took a lot of guts. I wish you nothing but the best and all the strength that it will take to rise above your condition.

  • @jakob29club tried

  • @jakob29club I DONT WANT MY KIDS AROUND YOU LOL

  • @jakob29club I THINK THE SCHOOL TEACHER HAD A MELT DOWN LOL

  • @jakob29club Hey, You can fight it, keep strong, theres many that look toward you.

youre right, Amy makes people get in touch with their feelings no matter, rich, poor, black white,

  • @jakob29club what do you teach in school? I hope you don't teach English. you need to be fired!

  • @wph1138

Just because he says he is an alcoholic, does not be he goes to work drunk. I am a LONG recovered alcoholic (and I was a pro, let me tell ya) and I never went to work drunk. You never know if the person working next to you is on something, so the guy is being honest, don't jump him for that. Took a lot of guts to say what he did.

  • @jakob29club

Jakob, I am a long time recovered Alkie, and I know your pain. But it can be done sweetie, and after you do get sober, you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner! I promise! Email if you ever need support. That damn battle can be won, and you can do it. If Amy were here now...she would say the same thing. One thing..get checked for depression. My depressed people drink, and when they get a handle on the depression, the desire will be gone. Try it!

  • @jakob29club I am too, and I have a lot of empathy and respect for Amy and her family. As alcoholics we all share certain characteristics, whether we are sober or not; the feelings are what gives me a sense of family with other addicts, especially alcoholics. I LOVE AMy Winehouse because she articulated my struggle so poetically, and hers as well.

  • I just recently started looking at Amy after the Bruno Mars tribute. She had a talent that was unbelievable. To see her self implode like that in front of the world and no one helped is truly a sad and dissapointing thing. I am glad she is finally at peace. Maybe people will stop feeding off her and let her rest.

  • She died from stopping drug use cold-turkey.

  • she's a junkie oh well she sucked anyways. Many people have died from overdoses big fuckin deal

  • This is very poignant, so touching...I did shed a couple of tears, and I wonder if some of those that were heckling her in the audience (I have also seen/heard the actual footage) are sorry now?

  • @whatanightmare1 FOR WHAT REASON SHOULG THEY B SORRY, KILL URSELF! HOE HAHAHAHAHHAHA

  • she was a gift, and she was too sweet for this ugly world. 'come away, oh human child, to the waters and the wild, with a fairy hand in hand, for the world's more full of weeping, than you can understand..." W.B. Yeates...now im crying.

  • @mazzy97smucky95 WHAT D FUCK DO U MEAN SHE OVERDOSED SUICIDE, SHE WAS PART OF THIS EVIL IN DIS WORLD. Y D U IDOLIZE HUMANS? U R LOST N SOON U SHALL C

  • how sad she is this should have never been shown, her misery is obvious were is respect. for suffering. i wish i never watched it

  • stupd girl. no brains. had zero class and thought she was it.....I couldnt stand her prancing around being a terrible role model for younger people. she should of just been a proper junkie and stopped ramming this garbage in our faces. no i wasnt a fan. didnt even think she came close to the likes of lisa stansfield etc. She was too into herself.

  • how sad, she was so beautiful .......god provides the only love that can save u. rip amy

  • i love her music and im glad my friend busted out with her tones..poor amy.. the pressure she must have had to sing again and come back. </3

  • Such a great talent... such a poor girl... what a waste... :(

  • Fuck the world, because she had millions of people interested in her and not one of them saved her from her fate by showing her a little bit of love. How is it that famous or not, people just don't give a fuck? something to think about. R.I.P. Amy

  • Amy, you lost everything :(

  • @rossy8004 - gracias.

  • DAT IS NOT WINEHOUSE

  • @rossy8004 se fUE una grande PERO nos dejo una VOZ inigualable gracias AMY por tus cancio0nes y NUNCA la olvidaremos Sus cANCIONES simpre ESTARA kn nosotrosss?

  • @MrRussianterror you are disgusting and respect the dead you idiot. also, you are probably a crack whore as well.

  • @MrRussianterror not a fan of the jews mr russian ? lol

  • @MrRussianterror oh and God told me to tell you he still loves you

  • gonna give you a LIKE!:-) awwww startet crying when i saw she cried:(

  • @thechicken981 - thank you

  • this song move me to the bathroom

  • So sad if her family only saved her from herself. It seems she was crying out for it. I loved her voice, she will never be forgotten! Just so sad. Amy RIP, miss you!

  • Thanks for this video...well she took the way she was strong enough to take...you cant judge someone for his choice anyway...you dont live her life you dont fight her demons...you just ...feel a bit of pity and sympathy

  • 39 people in this world sucks it hardly..

  • I never really 'knew' who she was before she died. I'd heard the name...thought she was maybe a winner on America's Got Talent or something but that was the extent of it. Then after she died Igoogled her. And then I saw her live performance of Wake Up Alone. I FROZE. I was dumbstruck at how raw she was...how 'naked' she was. Indeed a rare thing for a performer. I will say however that what makes Wake Up Alone so great is not just Amy, but the beautiful musical score and backup singers!

  • the world watched her kill herself... and did nothing.

  • Rest peacefully now, Amy. I remember first discovering her in late 2007 and I immediately fell in love with both her and her music. People need to understand that she tried very fucking hard to battle her own darkness, sadly she lost, but that doesn't mean she was weak. I mean, take a look back at 2011, she was giving it her all and I along with her TRUE fans had hope for her that she would overcome all she was confronted with. I'm glad she was recognized for her talent!

  • she looks... like she's high... :/// like she's going thru it

  • i was just thinking the same thing while watching her body movement while she was still a great singer so said her life ended

  • nice tits considering the rest of her looks so shite

  • very touching the story told by her bodyguard at her last day!

  • This was very respectful...I love it!!!...Well done!!!

  • @slackerj66 thank you.

  • Ya 007 thTat was really fucked up of amy to go and die and spoil your concert ticket you wanted for your birthday. selfish toerag! karma should fuck you up the ass then in the mouth.!!!!!

  • I was so sad when I heard it because that same day I was looking to see if I could book a ticket to a concert or something that she might have been at for my birthday

  • i remeberd when i first heard her sing i found a song of hers and used it as a vocal warm up i still do i always wanted to meet her she was just misunderstood like many of us she will forever be an idol to me i love you amy rest in paridise love

  • I disagree that she was a "genius." She was good at a few styles made popular long ago and better, technically, than most singers today. Her phrasing was very clear. No genius in this but skill. Tragic for her parents, I'm sure.

  • Wonderful tribute. Thank you for this.

  • @kperry316 thank you.

  • @TheAthiestMovement why? she represents the foundation for your movement?

  • Amy she is so amazing, my inspiration. Her music will live on! :')

  • Man like a month ago i was really high (weed) and i put on rehab and just closed my eyes and jammed. I felt my hands start tingling and the song just came out of me in the smoothest soulfoul voice. Like she was singing it through me it was surreal. Laugh if you want but it was just too crazy for words but really cool RIP Amy, youre still with us 3

  • Sorry FIA,GOODBYE PURE

  • So sad.

  • look at her she was healthy, she was bumped off,

  • i put her in the same class as Billie Holiday-singing right from the soul:

  • @larryharrison11 I agree and had just made that comparision.

  • @larryharrison11 she might even BE Billie Holiday

  • Good riddance.

  • @TheSupergoyim FUCK YOU !!!

  • I think you have done an excellent job with this video. It certainly did move me, it's so sad to see someone with such talent lose their head in such a way. What's worse is how exposed she was, everyone has their opinions about Amy but the truth is not one person knew what she was going through, she had always been self destructive, but it's sad that she had to go through it in front of the world, at least now she is at rest.

  • @caerulea0 I COMPLETELY know how she feels... she showed me a lot. I got clean because of her.

  • @caerulea0 - thank you.

  • @thepeoplemover888 i wish she could die twice

  • she was a rare talent, but beyond that a real person...screw the talent, i mourn the death of the person, AMY WINEHOUSE.

  • Atleast she was REAL..... unlike fake artists these days

  • she has a such a beautiful voice!!

  • @thepeoplemover888 how do you know it was her last cry? maybe she cried in her flat before she died! maybe she cried of pain or something!

  • @Karlakat4 - hence the use of the question mark. thanks for taking the time to comment.

  • @Karlakat4 stupid idiot...that's not the point

  • Comment removed

  • @neferalys31 I'm not a stupid idiot!! and if your so smart...tell me when was the last time she cried (the exact minute), when was the exact time she died (years, days, ours, minutes, seconds) and where is the spot she died! ( the exact spot in her flat like in her kitchen "30 inches to the right from the table" or something!!)!!! And BTW this conversation was not between you and me...it was between me and #thepeoplemover888!!!!!!

  • @Karlakat4 Open your mind for a second this is not a video who show litteraly her last cry we wasnt in her life we dont know her we never saw her in her private life

Nobody was there so nobody will know if she cried or not

It's a tribute from someone who liked her it's a way to show respect

in french we call that a metaphor

So yes i say you're a stupid idiot because you just look the technical way

No it's probably not her last tears before she died i guess

  • @neferalys31 well in Afrikaans we say..jy is 'n dom vark! plus if you have personal problems (and its obvious that you have!) dont take it out on me! Take it out on your own personal life!

  • thumbs up if you agree that she is the best singer an wish to have her back and give her one more chance at life :)

  • She was too talented for this world

  • sometimes i guess its better to be nearly famous?

  • Amy was such a talented artist but once drugs and alcohol become part of your talent, it will eventually destroy not only the talent but the person. We can go and blame her parents, society and her friends for not accepting her for being herself but needless to say, she chose the lifestyle she wanted to live. Apparently, rehab nor any other comforting words could redirect this addiction. Unfortunately drugs and alcohol have taken to many of those dear to us. Will it ever end?

  • For anyone who has never been in the vice grip of addiction, it is difficult to understand. Believe me, it is the worst hell you will ever be in. Don't criticize Amy for not being in control. Addiction ie the hardest battle you will EVER fight - if you are successful, you are one on the fortunate few. Too late I learned of her enormous talent - but I will honor her for all of my days. God love you and keep you, dear Amy. RIP. Thanx for the great music!

  • @headbangingbitch xox sister, i totally agree. i am in awe at the depth of what and how she shared and i've been there, thank god i am not, for today, but her music is such an awesome view into being there that i can't help but love her for being honestly real.

  • such a beautiful woman. such a tragedy she was taken at such a young age. she was only 28 years old. if her parents had accepted her choices in her life, she probably wouldn't have rebeled in such a manner.

  • Very moved by this. :( xx

  • @tybeany88 - thank you.

  • ofcourse she'll be forgotten! eventually,,, unfortunately

  • A very gorgeous women, profound talent, Rest now baby. You will never be forgotten.

We will all see you on the other side ...Love and kisses angel.

  • They didn't even care to iron the background sheet with her name on it. She'll always be my shining star...My Idol...my role model. Amy Winehouse will never die...forever indented in my heart and soul. I love you Amy....forever and always!! XXXO

  • god was she was at her best, looks whatever, she couldnt top it, she did, she topped it,

  • Thank you for making this. I found Amy only a short time before she died. Do you know what she was on this evening? Appears to be drunk, but what with the nose rubbing. Please no negative comments, I'm only trying to learn more about her.

  • R.I.P Baby you are gone but your memory is Immortal

  • gave me chills!!!!! :( x10

  • Rest now baby. You will never be forgotten.

This is difficult to say, and I do not want to upset anyone, but I think maybe Amy died from a broken heart..

  • Wow at 0:16 I just feel so friggin sorry for her.
