One of the best things to happen to Sonic in a while! I have been saying for quite some time now that Sonic Team only need to make a Sonic game with a Little Big Planet style level editor. People would have no reason to moan about bad level designs anymore. They could make their own!

I really hope Project Needlemouse has a level editor that would be fantastic.

As for the play Sega Sonic Editor, I hope they add some new backgrounds and objects we can mess around with.

Not really, it's a bit like sliding on ice at times.

Sometime's I slide off platforms when I didn't mean to, I had that problem a lot in the Master System games.
