Martin's great, and you do a good take on his tune. Tempted to get his lessons from Homespun which I believe teach this tune.

No, I haven't played banjo at all. I used to play classical guitar though. Martin Simpson is quite influenced by banjo styles, so it probably comes from the song.

CGCGCD bottom to top. Also called Csus2. It compares to dadgad like D-open compares to G-open.

Thank you, knobstick. The pickup is a Lace/national. I think it is a humbucker. The sound is very good, even though I almost never use it. Many people love this pickup, and there is always a shortage of them.
