Remember back a few years ago when Spugesdu, pizzamovies, darthmilo77 and xxxfancypantsxxx, the Lego Stop Motion giants, were not as big as they are now and they made many, many stop motions in a year because it was for the fun of making it, not making it amazing, just making a fun little movie for people on the internet to enjoy. No offense spugesdu, but I didn't really like this remastered edition. The reason why I didn't like this is because the plot felt like it was zooming in too fast and made the action scenes look like they came out of nowhere. And I don't like how the story unfolded too fast. And another thing, is that the bit where the robot getting shot in the head was cut out, which I don't really like.

I'm not saying I hate this, It's just that I thought this wasn't very good, and I prefer the original.

Here is just a little constructive critisism. I think you need to make it a little longer. Squad 42 is only in a little bit, and doesn't do much. I kinda agree with Seamonster3712, but I don't hate this. It is still great and I know Squad 42 VI will be even beter. Keep up the good work! =D

For some reason, in the remake I didn't really get the exciting feel with the blast door scene at 3:28. That was something to remember in the original. Either way, I can remember the day this full film was released back in 2008. Speaking of which, I have the urge to play through them all one by one.

you are starting to become like a hollywood director getting all CGI tard.

you should think some more about the exual footage instead of working days and nights on CGI I know its epic but its how I got too like squad 42 I liked it because of the epic stopmotion and the cool figures, the storyline. not just a few ships flying trought space in HD. hope you keep that in mind or you might end up like george lucas.

Hmm, let's put an analysis spin on this!

Maybe the change of ratios was intentional - to symbolise being trapped, closed in, no escape in the scene on the planet. Whereas the ratio of the screen is wider in the ship, this could contrast the planet's ratios, as it's wider, suggesting to us that the troopers on the ship have more "freedom".

I would like some personnal advice, becuas I'm going to strt making Squad 99 sometime this year, camera for birthday and use the b-day money for rebels and stormtroops. one pack of clones for the last survivors.. and i already have my main. Flamethrower vs Robots..... Do I need to explain any further?

@smiley2452 Please do! As far as I'm aware things like plastic and microchips aren't fire-proofed and the point of a laser blast is to apply great heat to an object. Wouldn't fire be a more efficient way to dispatch a droid and, in fact, isn't that exactly what is used at one point in Star Wars Episode III? :)
