I, being a pretty anxious and depressed prone person already, think about these kinds of atrocities, but to prevent myself from having a totally bleak perspective on the world and human nature in general, i have to know; what can we learn from all this? And don't say "war is bad", cuz I already know that, or "life is super freaking fragile", cuz I already know that. So, whatdya say? Is there hope for this world? just a thought...

There are many more. In regards to hope, well the 20th/21st century only looks so bad because it was filmed and captured. Compare it to the more brutal past, and there, you have hope.
