The first 2 minutes are just him shredding the same lick, it's lost it's appeal to me. I wish he'd change it up a bit and play some Bluesy or Southern stuff again on his own but every time I see a video where he plays something out of his norm it's indescribable. I love the thickness of the Les Paul. I have an ESP Eclipse II, which is a great sounding guitar, but I wish they made a thick version available in the US. They make a thick LTD version, but why not ESP? I love that paint job, too.

i love how people complaint about his solos being generic and boring, or that he just uses the pentatonic scale.. It's really funny cause i bet half of these ass holes who complain about his playing only know one scale themselves: the pentatonic scale. There is nothing bad about using the pentatonic scale at all, just depends on how you use it, and zakk uses it well. A bad example would be Kirk Hammet, probably the most overrated lead guitarist of all time.

I was a huge fan of Zakk and I'm still influenced by him in my own playing but I got bored of him playing the same pentatonic run again and again and again. This rest of this IS amazing, I just wish he wouldn't resort to his "default widdle" :-)

First off there is no one on this planet that can hold a candle to Zakk. Secondly he's Zakk fuckin' Wylde, maybe he just felt like shredding for ten minutes. And if he did decide to play something more soulful, I guarantee you'd be moved to tears. So until you get on his level - which will never happen, stfu and watch a living legend at work.

All the people complaining about the people complaining that this is just mindless shredding.. compare this to old Zakk. No More Tears era.. and Pride & Glory and Book of Shadows, and you'll see that this is really shit. His playing used to be an awesome mix of soul and shred.. now he just wanks on stupid coffin shaped guitars. Plus, he used to have a really badass voice.. now he's drunk that into submission.

To all the naysayers today...back in the day there were people who said Hendrix sucks too, or Zeppelin, or Sabbath. Then 20 years later people actually recognized them for their talent on a larger scale. Zakk is doing something interesting here mixing blues with chicken picking and high distortion metal driven sounds. If it's not your thing go watch something else. Me as a guitar player..would give my left nut to even come close to his playing ability.

Zakk is so much better then what he seems to ALWAYS play. When he slows down and plays with some melody and thought he's really good. He's my favorite current guitarist, but even I get tired of the same sounding lead all the time. Slow down for a second man.
