Great performanceand its Akai EWI3020 older version but more succesfull synth module I beleive..

Great Demo, probably the best music I've heard the EWI being played on.

however it's in Japanese without subs. He uses sufficient english words to understand what he's talking about (like portamento (remove the '-o' s at the end of their 'Englisho' words, and you'll understand). :-)

He has a custom white EWI-USB,looking from the USB connection it might be a prototype or an older version.

The samples pretty much suck though..

They didn't have ewi-usb back then. It has a simple midi cable coming out of it.

its the EWI from the 1990s, the 3020. its not the virtual analog synthesis like the crappy 4000, or soft synth from the computer, but true, warm voltage controlled analog synth

sound nice i love this wind controler from akai but made that with a roland guitar midi control is good to. I can play any kind of instrument and i wonder if i must use an ewi or a midi GTK guitar controler, for having expressive electronic sound.

Well, look at Masahiro Andoh's Guitar on Japanese Soul Brothers (1985). Notice he uses a Roland Guitar Synth to solo with.

ewiって普通にアンプとかに繋いで吹くもんなんですか？

吹いてるのはコントローラーです。

音はコードで繋がっているシンセから出ているので、

スピーカーがないと音は出ません。

アンプは特に必要ないはずです。
