I don't see why some Kentucky fans didn't like the John Wall team because they were lots and lots of dunking and talent... Back in the 80's Louisville was known for their "Doctors of Dunk" and their fans loved them! I personally LOVED the John Wall team, I think they were hands down the best team in the country, and it was pure upset and luck that they lost against SC, Tenn, and WV.

Memphis was his number one choice when calipari was still there, and kentucky became his number one choice after they hired cal. also, the breaking and entering charge was for a house that didnt even have anyone living there, just kids being kids

i dunno why people are criticizing wall's jump shot. he's actually an excellent midrange shooter, just doesn't have 3pt range, a lot like derrick rose. doesn't mean he's a bad shooter. some people make it sound as if he doesn't know how to shoot jump shots.

@atl2maryland You are completely incoherent. Just because someone can't do something well doesn't mean they aren't trying hard to learn how (e.g., Shaq trying to shoot fts for 10 yrs). NBA players are constantly adding bits and pieces to their games (e.g, Kobe Bryant shooting an absurd number of 3's per day for an entire summer). Playing the way Wall does is a skill in itself, and takes time to learn. He's 19, and I guarantee he's spending all day shooting jumpers (he's as much as said so).

like i said he has good footspeed (i.e can move his feet quickly to get some where) and he he does have v.good balance.. if you look he swerves alot (not a sharp sde step) this requires good balance, not so much footwork..

A younger Shaq, Lebron James, Dwight Howard.. who can stop them physically? But as far as skill sets and certain fundamentals the American game is lacking.. half of these guards cant even crossover or make simple fakes without carrying.. and many could use a lesson on footwork
