A good game...but could be better.

First of all, too much health. Makes it ridiculously easy.

Second, I know your trying to make it scary, but that doesn't mean the ENTIRE game has to be pitch black. Its far too dark, there should be small bits of light at least to show the way between the dark bits.

Yes, you go to this directory: C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\gamecore\guns\mo­del pack 5

Theres a folder called hands_resource In the folders are the hand textures Copy them over to the gun folder you want to change the hands of Replace the texture It should work

little tips for ur next game:

dont add 500 Healt next time.(too easy) and levels was too easy and quick to complete. Do some puzzles in ur next game. like ur have to search keys or something.

And if u wanna use modelpack 10 or ect just manually move the files to the guns folder in ur game.

Im working on horror game too.

its complete diffrent that other games.

I use only 50 health and u get ur first weapon after level 5.

And i have cutscenes. And for one level i spend lot of time.

this was still one of the greatest FPS Creator games that i have ever seen..

i am working on another game too right now, you can see a trailer in my channel...i also want to do it with less health and less ammo so that its hard survival, and harder levels an now i that know how to use mp 10, i think i'm gonna change the mp 6 guns

yepp, actually i wanted to use mp 10 in this game, but there were problems with the texture. when i built the game the guns an hands had no texture...

I actually dont mind model pack 5. its not really the hands i notice as much as the gameply. im not saying good graphics arent necessary, i'm just saying they arent mandatory for a good game

it worked pretty well in test mode, but when i built the game the guns & hands had no texture, so erything was white...anybody know how to fix that?

go to the readme for the weapons. it appears you have to manually drag a few textures into their folders. but your lucky, modelpack 5 doesnt even work for me lol i can usually only use mp6 and still the handtextures wont load.

ah ok...well when i tested the game there were no problems...i also tested it on another computer. and i never heard of problems from other users. maybe your computer is to slow or there are graphic card problems...or there was an error during the download...maybe try that again and try the game on another computer

well i tried it out at a friends. with x10 you can add a lot more entities, but there is also a lag, but you can put in a lot more enemies and stuff. actually it's pretty cool cuz you can use nice graphical effects like bloom and nice looking water, but it takes a lot of computer memory and you need a good graphic card. i still think x9 is better cuz there are also mods where you can use the x10 effects in the x9 version

yeah, i had that problem too. first i wanted to put in much more enemies, but it wasn't playable cuz the lag was so huge. that's why i had to kill a lot of enemies and other objects to make it run normaly. i don't know if it depends on the ram memory, but i've got 2 gb and there's still a lag. i think this is the only negative thing about the FPSC

it took about 3 to 5 months from the main idea till the first finished version.

well there are modelpacks available that contain medival and fantasy content like cyclops and crossbows. check out the fps website for more information. and i'm not sure if you can make 3rd person action, cuz its called first person shooter creator, but maybe there mods for it so you can do it. and there are also a lot of other game creating programms which are even more detailed than the fpsc.

there are too many entities. you have to delete some things like barrels and other stuff you don't need so there's no more unnecessary stuff.

well, you have to update your FPSC. i think at least to version 105.but i'm using v.107 so this version should include the save/load function. you can download the update at the fpsc website under "files"

to use the splash screen at he start of the game you have to copy the file "splash.bmp" which is located in the fpsc main folder into the folder of your game. you can also customize that splash screen so that it shows like your firm logo or something
