@oioioioi98h Is there a problem with Geordies, mentally? What possesed you to watch this video, and then say that. Shut the fuck up and show some respect.
@dvaidr You are obviously too young to know that the whole of the T+W, Sunderland and Newcastle fans were reffered to as Geordies. It's only since the media circus of sir John Hall that it all went to shit.
i thought sunderland were the better side from start to finish, from 1 to 11 they were immense that day. We didnt do too badly the season after though (for a bunch of dirty bastards) MOT
I was seven and a neutral so mum said to follow the underdog so we all rooted for Sunderland that day. Brilliant save from Monty. Brian Moore thought it was a goal. Amazing stuff. The FA Cup is not seen as important these days.Lets hope Stoke chalk one up for the less glamorous clubs.
@donnyab The FA Cup has never fully recovered from Ferguson withdrawing Man Utd one year, and even today he rested Giggs and Rooney in the semi final, must have been giving priority to League and Champions League
in Ferguson's defence the FA wanted to send Utd to go to take part in some stupid league competition in Japan with three other teams during January one year...resources only stretch so far and you can only play in so many competitions.
@donnyab Ah, yes that was a stupid FA decision, but i don't think the cup is quite what it was- looks like by not picking Rooney and Giggs today, Ferguson doesn't think so either. Sunderland-Leeds was a memorable match, especially for that Montgomery save. The Champions League has changed things too, very big business.
I'm Chelsea, but this was the greatest Cup Final, a shock , one of the greatest ever saves and Bob Stokoes run onto the pitch... great days, the first Cup Final I watched in colour, very appropriate.

2 blondes bend over and an old fella with his head right between them lifted their short skirts
revealing 2 pairs of red knickers with sunder one half of the word on one bum and land on the other bum he got right near as he pointed it out and as he pointed out land on 2nd pair he wafted

yeah but leeds were winning league titles from diving, bombarding refs and injury opposition players. also you cannot deny it's one of the greatest moments in football. not for leeds but for sunderland fans and neutrals
you werent even alive you prick, diving??? ive never seen a leeds player booked for diving. as for dirty, we were named that because of one match vs everton and it stuck with us watch leeds vs southampton 1972 and youll see and hear the commentator talking about leeds being so modern for their time. if we were dirty we wouldnt of been dubbed the team of the century.
only in leeds named team of the century. when a leeds player dived they would get about 6 players crowd the ref and make their lives hell. there have many accounts of leeds players doing that. many video clips showing it happening. leeds were a dirty team under revie.
only in leeds?? i said media dubbed you ignorant prick. so were you alive then?? southern teams hated leeds as they were the only northern team except liverpool earlier on to challenge the southern teams
everyone hated leeds. from sunderland to west ham. leeds were a dirty and horrible team. the worst disciplinary record in the country on many occasion ring a few bells? revie led his team to win by any means necessary. only leeds fans and the players of leeds back then have anything nice to say about them. when revie took the england job he tried the same tactics and tricks. he failed miserably on the basis the players hated leeds and he could indoctrinate them.
i wont admit we were a dirty side, we were brandished dirty because of one game. there were much more dirtier teams than leeds. plus we played better football than any other team
being top of the disciplinary shows charts shows you were dirtiest for a season. but if yous are near there most of the time then you are then yous are a dirty team. that was then not now
@jmmypaddy if you actually watch the videos of Leeds Revie era, you will see not only Leeds engaging in dirty playing but you will see other sides throwing in late tackles, sneaky punches. the likes of Kevin Keegan wern't foreing to a punch up now and again, that about the leeds players crowding the ref, rarely happended and that happens now, a group of players approach the ref to try and persuade him to give a decision to their side. you sound like you got most of your history of the dammed utd
Yes maybe if youd had a bigger squad you could have taken on doubles and trebles. I dont know what planet these clowns are on, Leeds were entertaining and scored plenty of goals and yes should have won more
I think it was because the team were so tired by the end as the same players were playing all the games. If the squad were just a bit bigger and more rotation you would have gone the last mile i think. 1970 was also the year of the world cup so players like Hunter and cooper must have been exhausted
@LUFCpickerzWACCOE75 Don't leave your fuckin comments on Tottenham hotspur champs league here we come vid. positive commments only thank you very bery much

The end of the 70s was the lowest ebb for european soccer , i mean teams like Malmo and Brugge got to the final, thats one reason why forest won 1 of their european cups; also then you played only 9 matches from start to finish
@1middlesbrough Neither does festering in the fizzy pop with very low crowds. If you look at the stats, SAFC is the 5th most successful club of all time in England.
