The H3 is based on a Chevrolet Colorado chassis, I havnt heard anything bad about the Colorado, I would buy a Colorado long before I would buy a H3 though

the Hummer H3 is a horrible offroad vehicle. Not too capable with most offroad situations. Go buy a Jeep or a nice pick up instead and save your money for more important things like a lift, bigger tires, winch, and lockers; not just chrome and a tiny little brush guard.

its fed to a dual compressed air tank. Similar to a scuba tank but the it cannot go under 35 ft of its done. This package was probably the S1 from hummer which comes with a full body sealer (makes it watertight, seals trans., electronices, engine, etc.) and adds a bouyancy control. A few other things as well. This underwater kit runs for about 35,000 plus the hummer so really expensive.

the idiot is probably the person who is confusing an h2 with an h3 which is a lot less heavy and has better fuel consumption than many other vehicles. however you are right about fossil fuel consumption in general. the 2009 h3 in europe will be diesel and thus able to take advantage of bio fuels. you do the cause of green politics little good if you become a hater. better to come up with workable solutions such as lighter vehicles as hummer are doing these days.

Alright dipshit... If you want to get really technical, I'll tell you that the 375 miles to the tank that it do get IS ON A 20 GALLON TANK... I wouldn't expect you to know this, but the fuel empty sensor goes off at 20 gallons (hence I don't use those last 3... you can do that math right?) I'm glad you can research something that I can go outside and see firsthand. And recheck your facts... The 2006 H3 has epa estimates of 13-20 MPG. We aren't contributing to our enemies. I can just afford gas.
