  • how do i get more memory on my laptop

  • @MCbtYou

if you want a laptop that can run games of this category, you're gonna need one from around $2500, unless you want to fry it

  • @MCbtYou Please do not take offence to this, but if you have to ask that question, do not try it yourself, because you will probably just damage it! It all depends on whether or not your laptop has open memory slots. If it does, you then just need to find out what kind of RAM your laptop uses... DDR2, DDR3, etc.

  • @vonjager No I Wont take offence, Thanx, I Ask To Get Answers..

    im figuring it out

  • did anyone else hear at 1:06 they said "EA" :)

  • I wonder what that instrument is starting from 0:18

  • @CannibaLouiST it almost sounds like a Giant Guqin. I don't remember what they call them, it's actually a medieval period instrument, too.

  • This menu not only describes European and Christian life but also Muslim life who were led astray by the various leaders after Muhammad pbuh leaders whom Muhammad would have never allowed them to gain power yes it was Muhammad who brought forth the message of god to fight those who threaten Islam, but not like this, with the mass slaughter of innocents. No matter the age, may god help us all

  • Lord, have mercy...

  • The music and clip express the sombre emotions of the majority of people in Europe during the Middle Ages. Sadness, insecurity and hopelessness. Yet a chance of salvation and redemption in the Holy Land, if one were to take the cross and swear allegiance to the devil himself, Pope Urban II. Truely a shame that many who took the journey to the Holy Land were led astray by personal greed or influential others to commit crimes that Jesus would be incapable of. Christ ... truely have mercy.

  • Best menu EVER.

The music, the silouettes marching slowly...

I can feel the middle ages and christianity, that mixture of reverence, christian self-righteousness, and that sheer desire to defeat anyone who dares to oppose my cause.

Just fucking amazing, makes me want to kneel before an altar with a zweihander, and then head into a crusade against the infidels.

By far beats the menu of RomeTW, even if I like that game much more. The rest of the game just doesn't achieve this vibe, really sad.

  • @Snordix Would you be offended if I told you that it gives me the same feelings?

  • @TheBlindPowerslave Fuck no! The overwhelming feelings of that which is spiritually sublime should be felt and shared by everyone!

  • @Snordix So you aren't offended when I imagine myself killing you and raping your family? Man, you are cold.

  • @TheBlindPowerslave Why would I be offended?

Deep down, we all know that's what humans really want.

  • @Snordix Maybe we are. Maybe not. You are what you want to be.

  • cCc Janissary cCc

  • This is my favorite song from All Total wars!!!!!

I realy love this song! ........:)

  • 20,000 Knights

    vs.

    20,000 Roman Legionaries

No art.,calv., missile flat plain at their highest peak

I know that Knights didn't fight in big armies but I think they would win.

  • @egdqv13234 Even Armored Cavalry is no match for well trained, disciplined, and armored infantry. Knights dominated the Medieval period because most of the infantry was light and completely untrained. The Romans swept up heavy cav (though not horse archers) on a regular basis.

  • 0:18

    what instrument is it?

  • @9EsPaDa some kind of guitar, a bass maybe..

  • @9EsPaDa who knows, who cares? IT'S AWESOME!

  • @9EsPaDa Some kind of Lute?

  • the title in english is Lord eleeison

google tranlsate however said did you mean"Lord have mercy" so which one is right

  • @SPQRconsul7 it's lord have mercy.

  • badass

  • @ronggong shut the fuck up biatch

  • @giorgoslive198 άντε από εκεί ρε!

  • @TheYu87 σιγα μια πλακα εκανα, θρησκοληπτε...!

  • in minute 0.30 What instrument is playing?

  • Medieval music would have not had the instruments for sacred music, but hell it adds a nice touch to it.

  • this track is byzantine music, today is only used by the greek orthodox church

Kýrie Eléison means "lord show us mercy"

  • @tourin76 Kyrie Eleison is also sometimes sung/chanted in the Catholic Church.

  • This was one of the best songs on MTW2 and yet it wasnt on the soundtrack disk :(

  • This sends chills down my spine every time. I love it.

  • byzantine empire rules !

    UNLEASH GREEK FIRE !!!

  • always loved this piece. mixed with the soldiers marching in the nighttime fog, it has such a foreboding and dark feel to it. I loved this game.

  • It's magnificent... I like this sort of music alot.

  • @CrainerEU they're using google translate

  • @superKOEImania acually it has armenian origin.

  • watch?v=m5UX38J1UoU

  • This song isn't included in Medieval Total war official soundtracks. Does anybody know why?

  • Really sets the mood for all that's about to happen in the game.

  • "Kyrie eleison" is a Byzantine Greek expression used in Medieval Greece for your inform

  • They should use this in church again!

  • this song is beautiful

  • It seems that the field those soldiers are walking in has a rather nasty case of tunneling Benedictine Monks.

  • I used this as background to a college presentation about the crusades and knightly orders in the holy land.

  • I always cry because of this music. Lord, do have mercy ;(

  • @Adventchild8 i think they're all dead people

  • @Adventchild8

"We've been walking in this ominous fog for days! When will the king just admit he lost the map?"

  • @southboundslunk

I bet it's the AI walking in your fog of war ;)

  • @jirisysklatoon No wonder it takes so damn long for them to find me. Poor blokes probably think they wandered into silent hill :-(

  • @southboundslunk

At least they have longswords, far better than a rifle

  • @jirisysklatoon

True that. Still, a Silent Hill in medieval times...

    I'LL TAKE TWENTY

  • Kýrie eléison for all enemies of the Roman Empire. This was one of the things the soldiers of Rome shouted before they engaged the enemy. One of their favourite tactics was to maintain complete silence in the ranks, then shout this in unison, to demoralise the enemy

  • @ConstantineSolo

Wasn't this made in Catholic times? When there only was one god? I mean, if the romans did it, they most likely chanted it to Mars, but, i think it's a more of a Bizantine Era rather than a Roman

Any sources to prove it would be nice =)

  • @jirisysklatoon Ummm Byzantine is the West's term for the Medieval Roman Empire. Rome was majority Christian since near the time of Justinian in the sixth century

  • @jirisysklatoon Haldon, John F. (1999). Warfare, state and society in the Byzantine world, 565-1204. Routledge. Byzantine or Byzantium or Empire of the Greeks are Western labels for the Roman Empire, which are attempts to distinguish between the empire as it existed as least since Diocletian and their own Holy Roman Empire, which came into existence in 800, and only because of a fiction that the Roman Empire was leaderless, because a woman was on the throne

  • @ConstantineSolo

You got technichal aye? Well fine, it was on the eastern roman empire's time =)

  • @jirisysklatoon by 330 ad , emperor constantine "legalized" christianity in the roman empire, so it was still the ancient period ( the ancient times ended in 475 ad with the fall of the western empire ). from 330 to 1054 ( the great schism ) there was no catholic or orthodox, just christianity . byzantine was just a western term to the eastern roman empire. have i answered to all your questions ? p.s. : you can search for my answers, and notice they are correct. kirie eleison !!!

  • @talibanulafgan western roman empire ( mysstype ) sorry !!!

  • one of the greatest games i ever played, and has the best soundtracks ive ever heard in games, thank you creative assembly, jeff van dyck and u jirisyklatoon for letting us listen to this great stuff... 12/10

  • excellent video, great visuals (and music haha)

  • Huge fan of the game. Thanks for posting!

...and you certainly know your legal speak. What exactly is the "de minimis" rule?

  • @OpenCadence78

It's a rule when the copyright infringement is so small (such as a song that is in a game, yet it is not on sale, so the listening of it would not pose a commercial loss to a company) that it does not even need to use the "Fair use" policy

  • YEAH THIS song is greek

  • Personal Opinion: Medieval 2: Total War has one of the best if not THE BEST soundtracks I've ever heard in a game.

The music in it is so diverse and powerful, it takes hold of your emotions and either crushes them entirely or lifts them up.

This song overpowers me, in the greatest of ways. Loving it.

Thanks for posting it up :)

  • You should hear the Europa Barbarorum soundtrack :)

  • @MrGamingAdventure I agree one of the best, but to me nothing beats the classics (Rome: Total War music)

  • @MrGamingAdventure whenever i listen to the music of medieval 2 it makes me wish i was there in the medieval times. my family is traced back to medieval on my mother's irish side. both my parents are irish, mostly. my dad has american and some german. my mother is english (mostly irish like i said) and swedish. me = viking. lastname is gaelic too.

  • @MrGamingAdventure yeah, I reckon

  • Awesome. Thanks for uploading. Quality is much better than the others, and I love how you got the background video.

  • well the trick is to crop the music file in the game data folder (it's a .dat file) or if you can't just record it while you are playing it

  • Actually it's Lord Have Mercy, not lord mercy us

  • lol

  • kyrie eleison for those who dont know means"lord mercy us"or lord mercy us"mor simply in greek language
