She should have been a lot more upset about the way he produced her albums. How does a man with such a large musical portfolio churn out such underwhelming pseudo-pop? The multi-genre concept for Up! was intriguing enough but the final product(s) were about 90% the same: country-ish pop, poppy-ish pop and easterny-ish pop, without really exploring the musical space.

She should have been a lot more upset about the way he produced her albums. How does a man with such a large musical portfolio churn out such underwhelming pseudo-pop? The multi-genre concept for Up! was intriguing enough but the final product(s) were about 90% the same: country-ish pop, poppy-ish pop and easterny-ish pop, without really exploring the musical space.
She should be less hurt about him giving the best of himself to another woman, than giving the best of himself to other bands.

If you have ever been in a relationship that has lasted for more than 10 years you should understand what is going on here. It is possible that they did not communicate love the same way. Perhaps Shania didn't communicate love through touch and the other woman did. Men are easily swayed toward the prettiest face over compatibility. When a man and woman are not compatible the relationship becomes hell for both. I would bet they both contributed to what happened in hopes the hell would end.

@glorify100 Mutt may have helped, but Shania is the one who did most of the song writing , she was the one who practiced singing for hours a day, she was the one who performed no matter how tired she was at like 120 or more tour dates...So even though Mutt taught her some things it was Shania who applied it...and he cheated on her...she didn't cheat on him..maybe after he ran out of ideas to win awards he finally decided to go wild....

With Mutt Lange there was no real possibilty of that.He would always help her write and then produce her albums for her. Now what's she got? Just her sob story.
