  • Its too hard that way an it fails alot. PLUS MY WING IS 60" LONG and liek 3 pounds

  • if you are worried about fingers just put a dang leather glove on. They are like a dollar. reinforce it with fiber glass weave an 3m90. and you are good. better your prop break than you finger. PLUS YOUR WAY SUCKS, NO OFFENSE I HAVE TRYED IT LIKE 12 TIMES. ALL LEADING TO CRASH. YOU MIGHT AS WELL GET MOTOR THAT CAN TAKE YOU OFF THE GROUND VERTICALLY

  • @skimowhite586 Sorry you're having problems but all I can say is the technique works for me and I've been using it for 3+ years.

As the video caption states, you should only be launching level or slightly upward. The wings I fly (20" - 50") are not overpower and I have no problem launching them all like this. It's a technique for sure, but once you learn it, it's really easy and I don't need to worry about your fingers or carrying extra equipment like a reinforced glove.

  • i can never get mine goin this way, i hold by motor mount and throw POWER OFF with a good chuck it gets on step, little power and your off.

  • Your video is the perfect answer to mine :-)

    Please visit my latest vid

How to start a Flying Wing and not chop off your fingers...

and post your's as a video reply - it would fit there very nicely.

But you guess what: after my friend's fingers got hit we came to your suggestet solution by ourselfes (even if it took us some trials to get there :-)

Also your comments about my problem with the wing are very welcome!
