  • @dabom12898 I love how they're not only trying to make the egg mcmuffin sound healthy, but they're trying to sell you on 300 calories or fewer for breakfast. Breakfast is supposed to be the biggest meal of the day, because you are fueling up for the whole day, not filling up only to lie down and go to sleep! It's better for your metabolism to eat a bigger breakfast, so what do they do? give you a 300 cal over-processed carb-filled snack.

  • and if you go over 100, its easier to not say one hundred but just count the first two decimal places, so if you count to 152, just count fifty-two

  • For all those who have trouble breathing, try to count in your head and keep your breath in sync with each number (this doesn't work too well if you only go up to ten).Count one rep as having each of your legs come in, so when your right leg comes in, that would be thir- and once your left one goes in, finish it off with -teen. Breeth in on the first syllable and out on the second. if you get to higher numbers like 95, count ninety-five...

  • You actually need to start out in a more aligned position. SImilar to plank with the hips down rather than up like in this video.

  • I don't think this instruction is right. your butts & core shouldn't bounce like that. The mountain climbers taught to me is to start with your original push up plank postion (hands right underneath your shoulder), straight back, strong core, then piston your feet to your chest. The feet & knees should be light, the core & shoulders carry the most weight.

  • @CuppaWorkout I believe you are right, but this variation is often used in military boot camps and for beginning students. In the correct method the weight is never on the front foot.

  • @andrew070004 Not really bro, if you`re lifting heavy weights and want to make muscle, 3 cardio workouts per week of max. 3 minutes helps you a lot to recover from a hard training with heavyweights .

  • Ahhhh, this brings me back to the Air Force basic training. The key to doing this exercise properly is tighten your abs and straighten your back. (never arch lower back)

  • why? what mass of weight to bodyweight ratio? in what way would this be more beneficial thaqn increasing reps?

  • The added weight can increase the mass of the leg muscles. Addign weight puts more of a strain on the body, thus making the workout even more difficult for added challenge, muscle growth, and you can still increase the reps, adding weight doesn't have to take away that factor, you just have to work up to it.

    When he says "make sure you're breathing", he doesn't mean breathing itself; he means *controlled* breathing, which is essential if you're doing vigorous exercise. It's sports slang. You'd hear it all the time in martial arts, fitness and recreational sports from coaches. They simply say "remember to breathe!" and the meaning is understood as "to breathe in a controlled manner".

  • Is this a good cardio weight loss program? Like for burning off fat? I have spent about 3 months bulking up and weight training, but now I am about 20 pounds or so more than I wanted, so I want to cut down, lose weight and get some definition.

    Due to weather, the neighborhood and such, I do all my cardio at the house, what are some good workouts for cutting the fat?

  • well the best type of cardio is the most simple...running punching and jump rope

  • Great voice. Yea, I used to do this excercise as a warm-up before running a mile in track. This can be used as a nice low pack cardio exercise and it is always good to change up your cardio exercise and do differnt things. Always working to challenge yourself is key. Doing the same thing over and over only maintains does not increase strength or lose pounds.
