I absolutely can't stand this performance by Bowie, it was terrible, total cringe performance. I would go as far as to say that I think he right royally fucked this film up
If Bowie could have just gotten rid of his non-rhotic pronunciation of certain words, he'd be a perfect Warhol. He'd definitely know how to play him, considering he was a good friend of Warhol's and Warhol actually gave him that wig he's wearing.
Hi,Steve ! I got a DVD where there's this scene. In fact, I got 5 DVDs of him (for ex., his 50's birthday(M.Square Garden), a show in Bercy, Paris, where I've been to see his show(the best show I've ever seen), and my Brother had made me a gift ; All Bowie had put on the web, so 17 Cds, with ALL the songs he had written till 2000.But it's not album by album, but it's in the order of the years the songs have been written. When I wanna listen to him,I ALWAYS find the song I search. Thanks for this..
I am not crazy about Bruno's comment that it doesn't matter how much work goes into art, but rather what you get for it. Maybe I don't understand the art world.
haha. rather interesting ideas given of art scene personal moments seen omnipotently. characters, i love em

David considers himself much more a painter than a musician.

@eestiqaatsi I consider him to be much more of a hack than either.

Great performance of David. Warhol and Bowie are two giants in the arts of the 20th century

When I look at him, I don't see Andy Warhol. I still see David Bowie.
