You're probably going to Select >Transform Selection. Instead go to Edit >Transform :)

1. Make sure your selection isn't on another layer- make sure it's on the one you want to change. 2. Make sure there aren't any layers on the top. 3. Make sure you select "Free Transform".

hi guys..i just like to ask why is it every time i click the button "switch between free transform and warp modes" and start editing the selected pic..it is like the selected area is cut.after i edited it some while appears. does anyone knows how to fix it?

you can't fix it, thats how the tool works. The only thing you can do is to duplicate the image and on the bottom image clonestamp out the bit you are editing and then on the top image use the tool. To make them realistic again merge the two images after and use other tools to get rid of any lines etc you may have left.

You definately need a CS version. I have 7.0 but it doesnt have the warp tool which is one of the main ones used here. I don't know if CS has the tool, but CS2 and deffos CS3 do.
