  • That Carlsberg towel is 2 or 4 track? :)

  • oau....Great........gest great....

  • ...some call me crazy : i own 7 tape-recorders (27 cm), but THIS IS PORN !!! LES

please, send me the nagras (postage pays receiver !)

  • That room is built on awesome.Where do you find all those?

  • Years of searching :-)

  • @Seblington My first impression of that room is "1980s Space Age" or the 80s grasp of the future... Its like Tron...

can you maintenance te decks, cause im having trouble with 8-track cartridge players if you can help... would be appreciated!

  • Not sure about 8-tracks, theres nothing much to go wrong with them I would have thought, isnt there just one belt?

  • @Seblington I havent seen the belts, but presumably there is just one... it travels in one direction, afterall...

Ill take a look and let you know.

  • I LOVE VU Meters,,what a beautifull picture.I was given one of the vws of the radio industry by my PD a few years back.He was putting all of his eggs into the new digital crap for the production room so he gave me an Otari MX5050 studio roll around.lmao..2 months later the digi garbage crashed and hundreds of spots etc were gone forever.Another F or the digital destroys everything world.

  • do you have this track for download? I really enjoyed it!

    thanks.

  • Hello, send me a private message with your email addres and will send you a copy, itys not that long as it was just a clip I made.

  • very nnice men!..

haven't you got a tascam recorder teac 80-8 ?? I'll search one of them than over 4 month and I don't found anything !

  • Hi again,

but, the topmost in the middle isn´t a reel to reel, it´s a record player....:)

    Awesome collection!!!

    Cheers,

  • Thats a Sharp upright record player :-)

  • i wouldnt mind dying in this room

  • Sadly all of these machines have been taken down, the walls repaired, and the machines into storage, the good news is that I have a new house witha massive workshop were I can suplay almost everything, videos to folow.

  • reel to reels RULE !

  • Wonderful collection. Congratulations!

But would there still be room for one more Nagra?

I 'd like to sell mine at some stage, the Nagra SN.

    Paulina

  • @mrsjoya21 - I was wondering if I'd see a Nagra SN here, as I've handled production sound in all formats of Nagra tapes - the SN could actually be recorded at 1 7/8 IPS and have the tape loaded into an audio cassette - also two reels in a box could be disguised as a candy bar... Spy stuff!

But I liked seeing the 1/4 inch Nagras in the vid, particularly the old black-faced one.

  • dang what a nice collection those studers are getting hard to find and more expensive im kicking my self now i had a good deal on one once didnt go for it though

  • damn

  • Hi Seblington, very nice collection. Could you tell me the name of the track playing? It sounds like a nice "test song" (wink wink). Thanks.

  • Thank you, test track is right, called it SEB-SET, its one I made.

  • I was going to suggest shelving kind of suppoert for the smaller machines and you did that already as long as your machines are all excessable, right?. Thank you love the videos.
