cheers...err..that's a very good question. The patterns came from a brief session with the editing software the night before...apart from that, I tend to leave 'envelope' at around 3 (gives a degree of percussiveness that works for me, and makes it easy to switch between patterns without too much fiddling-about), and 'mix' at 8. Apologies if that wasn't especially helpful.
@thrcman thank 'ee most kindly - glad to be of service! :-) It's certainly a very powerful beastie - at the moment I'm only scratching the surface of what it can do, but can already thoroughly recommend it. Oh, and the (free to download) editing software is excellent, too.
@thrcman It's my trusty old Hohner "The Jack Bass Custom V". Bought in 1993, done hundreds of gigs, and had it de-fretted a few years ago. If you're not familiar with headless basses, it uses a Steinberger-style bridge where the string-ends sit in movable blocks, each of which has its own adjustment knob. Could probably do with having the jack socket replaced, though, it's starting to get a little temperamental... :-)
Cheers! Sorry, but the cables aren't doing anything exciting - one's the "audio in" from the bass, and the other 2 are running in stereo out of the MuRF to the Korg digital recorder (sitting on the table just out of shot). You're quite right though, there's also a power cable coming up from under the table. I only ever keep stuff so tidy when there's a camera about...
@ 2:13, sounds badass, what setting is that?

Cool and fun work! Wondering where those 3 cables end up. One of them looks like AC adapter's. One seems to be 1/4" jack. and the last one is?
