  • Its not a pistol the barrel is 16 which is the rifle limit it takes pistol ammo abd mags but its classified as a rifle

  • Question I've been having some trouble finding the 30 round extended glock mags...I've only got one...where did you get them from???

  • Jesus Farmer....

  • Im going to grab a cheap steel suitcase from walmart to lug mine around in

  • like the bag very cool, you should check out the quad rail looks very sexy and allows you to mount the optic helping with sighting nutnfancy has it on his

  • Excellent pack/set-up you put together sir.

I noticed you made this two years ago, any issues with the unimax?

BTW I didnt know this model accepted a laser or even had a rail for that matter.

  • holey shit! thats a bad ass weapon. I want one now

  • Is this considered a pistol?

  • kind of a stupid question, but when you go and buy one of these do they classify it as being a pistol? which would make the age of ownership 21, this i familiar to a Hi-point to me which is 18 to own right? im only 20, but i own 2 pistols (legally)

    Thanks

  • @trailertrash20010 only have to be 18.........how do you legally own a pistol before age 21 cause iam 19

and i own a db shotgun 3 rifles and a kel tec sub 40s&w.....need a pistol bad...also iam in texas so...YEAH

  • @emerik12345 i asked because if it was considered a pistol i wouldn't be able to buy from a dealer (because im not 21) but i did have 2 pistols, now down just to a glock 19.

alll you have to do if your state allows it, is to be 18 and buy from a private seller. thats it.

  • Do those asian mags function as good as factory mags in these sub 2000s?

  • Im only 18. can i get my hands on one of these legaly in Mt.

  • @rqm420 sure. But you will need to have it shipped to a FFL dealer. Also if your state doesn't allow High capacity mags you are going to have to get low capacity mags.

  • @rqm420 yea you can, you can get your hands on any full size semi-auto rifle. you just gotta know your ssn and have ID. = P

  • @rqm420 yes but are hard to find

  • Very nice.

  • Very nice sir!

  • I love the "carbine" mispronunciation!

  • oooh an uzi pouch kewl

  • damn, thats a neat little set up you've got there. i really resent my countries gun laws which restrict this for me. i've heard that they fire kinda dirty, whats the cleaning like for it?

  • I nearly cried when I pent to purchase one of these to find that its not legal in Cal, hell I'm ready to move just to buy one of these.

  • @jplerwill

Check ktog.com, somebody had a subby sent to Cali. It had to have a cali-mag button installed before entering the state, but apparently it can happen.

  • how much do these typically run? im looking into getting this as my next rifle.

  • @drumONdrugs23

I just picked up one new last week in .40 S&W for $265 plus tax. Also picked up 2 15 rd Glock 22 mags for $17 each with it at a shop going out of biz. Looking forward to going out and breaking it in and seeing what it'll do

  • @plasticsguy01 great find, they're getting harder to find. good deal on the magazines too

  • @drumONdrugs23 i've seen them from 250-350 depending on what model magazines it takes and caliber

  • nice so are you ready to sell that yet ;)

  • The cool thing though is that the 33 round Glock mags will also fit in the Glock 19, so now you have a system that works for both the rifle and pistol.

I think I might be picking one of these up soon.

  • That would be cool if they made 10mm auto or 357 versions of this :D

    Also, nice 'tactical gun bag'

  • Where did you get the buffer tube cover & charging handle cover again? Thanks.

  • I have always wanted a sub 2000, but when I get ready to buy one, pick it up and

look at it, at gun shows ,I just can't, because it looks and feels like a cheap piece of junk, that is made out of plastic, and will break or malfunction.

, and still struggle with the decision to buy one, every time I run across one.

    for sale.

  • I have recently started considering the purchase of a Kel Tec S2000. Your video has answered a great deal of questions I had along with many suggestions and upgrades I hadn't thought about.

    Thank you.

  • @mrslappy75 Thanks, glad it was useful. make sure you check out the keltec owners group forum for more information about it.

  • Use a form tube that is used to cover small water lines for a cheek rest.

Love your video, great idea on the computer bag

  • @grayghost222 Thanks for watching, yea saw that some foam insulation can be used for the tube.

  • Use a form tube that is used to cover small water lines for a cheek rest.

  • Where did you get that rubber charge handle cover? I need one bad..pinched the shit out of my finger once....actually drew blood

  • @BlueCollarSurvival i have a link for the website to where i got it in the description

  • @BlueCollarSurvival tacticool products. Great company. Inexpensive and they ship it fast

  • good vid bro

  • @ptownpresident thanks for checking it out

  • i see no reason why a G19 mag wouldnt work.

you do realize that glock 17,19 and the 33 round mag is the same thing right? the only difference in there dimensions is the length...everything else is exactly the same.

  • @soonersfan081 Best thing to do is check the KelTec website or contact them and ask. I have one in 9mm that takes the Glock 17 mags. I have not tried the Glock 19 mags. I also have one in .40 S&W that takes Glock 22 mags. Others take Beretta Mags or Smith and Wesson Mags but not both.

  • Actually you can put a sling on the rifle and use it as the shoulder strap of the laptop bag, so you can quickly drop the bag off of the gun, unfold it, release the bolt and be ready to fire. I practiced it for fun, you can do it quick.

  • @warpwar That's pretty cool, never thought of that. I might have to try it.

  • That laptop bag is the illest way to carry a rifle I have ever seen.

  • @knowthetruth1492 i've seen a lot of different ways to carry the sub2000. Breifcase, backpack, even in suit jacket pockets.

  • seeing how you own one i was wondering how do you think this gun will hold up over the years?? i was thinking of getting one for a cheap compact effective trunk gun. i figured seeing how i carry a glock daily mag compatability might come in handy one day.

  • @dp665 So far i've had it for about 4 years with about 1k of various 9mm ammunition through it. It's still holding up pretty good, and i really don't baby it.

  • Oh wow, That Uzi Mag bag is awesome! For a quick arm-up in case SHTR and intervention is eminent. Great vid.

    ..X..

  • @Xonegod Thanks, and also it's real cheap. No reason not to get one. Might be useful for other things also.

  • Which Hogue grip did you install on your Sub2000?

  • @dbrislawn I used the full sized slip on one.

  • @dbrislawn - I used a Hogue slip-on grip meant for the Glock 19 on mine, fits perfectly.

  • lol i love wat u did with the laptop bag. so u could basically walk around with ur Sub-2000 and nobody would notice. nice

  • @venomouseye yup, you can even go better and put it in a diaper bag.

  • nice combo with the uzi mag bag i

would not have thought of that

  • @stickandrun yea the uzi magazine bag is VERY cheap, i think 2 bux now. and it actually says on J&G's site that can be used for the Glock 30 round magazines

  • The OD stock and Butt realy make this weapon look way better than it comes standard, good job.

  • @MilitantPIG Thanks, real easy to do i just used the Kraton spray paint from walmart and if it wears out it can just easily be sprayed again.

  • @dakine425 Well it looks way better, than stock. If I did it I would go the Nutinfancy way and dura-cote it the same color. The Sub 2000 is one Kel-Tec I am interested in. I have a M4 9mm but this would be a fun little gun too.

  • now thats beggin' for wrol!

  • @logitechstanton It could be used for high stress situations:)

  • how much was that laser sight

  • @thaze95 I got the sight used for 50.00 on a forum

  • your mag pouch doesn't look like the one at the website.

  • botach tactical has a $15, 31 round 40 S&W mag that is made by someone other than Glock

  • @afoulsmell Cool that's good to know, I've never seen the .40s&w extended mags anywhere.

  • @dakine425 Wow didn't know it was different. It is cheaper though. Pretty cool

  • They now make aluminum quad rail hand guards for these. I might get one now

  • I saw that, I was thinking of getting one but the cost turned me off. I'd rather get $100.00 worth of ammo:)

  • i would like to no were i can get a bigger mag at for mind ....... i have the 40mm though

  • If you mean a .40s&w, glock does make high capacity magazines in .40

  • I suggest people just get glow in the dark sights instead of a laser. In the heat of the moment you may forget to even turn on the laser, so its rather pointless. I like things that are ALWAYS on, like acogs, or fiber optic/tritium sights.

  • @labartic Actually i do agree with you on the lasers. it's just on there for fun. This is more of a range/fun gun.

  • @labartic true but you could get a pressure switch/grip switch no?

  • Just got mine sat havent shot it yet but i love it already

  • which one did you get? the one that takes glock magazines? or beretta? which caliber?

  • 9mm glock 17 grip . dont care for the 19 grip it seems too small

  • Thats the way to go. Nice little set up.

  • kick ass OD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i just ordered this gun today for 327 bucks,it fits the glock 17 and 18 clips which i havnt bought yet.how many 10 round clips come with the gun?also i have the new hi point 995 ts,decked out with laser,bi pod,and flashlight.

  • It comes with one 10 round magazine but as you know already will take the G17 and 18 full capacity. I thnk you'll be happy with it.

  • christ i want one of these so bad. im in the chicago area and this place is completly dry of them there are none to be found anywear

  • Your best bet would have to be gunbroker or another auction site. You can also check the keltec forums. Sometimes the members sell theirs

  • Very well done. Great idea about the laptop bag. You can sometimes find those at garage sales. I'm thinking about getting the recoil pad for mine because, even though its only 9mm, the gun has a pretty good kick. Also very good idea about the Uzi magazine bag.

  • Thanks, the recoil buffer does work, BUT you can't lock the handle back because of the buffer takes up space. You can either trim the buffer or make a cutout in the buffer tube. I opted to trim the buffer enough to lock the handle back

  • Videos like these have been helpful with deciding between a Hi-Point or Kel-Tec in the near future & I liked the resourceful tips you've provided(such as with the labtop case; I've tought about a duffle bag but it's good to see the concept put into practice first)

I was unaware of the buffer & charging handle cover & are affordable to look into

Thank you for the upload. I hope this is not to vague, but may I ask if you have any advice or experience that may aid in deciding between the two?

  • The hipoint is also a good 9mm carbine. I think they have a newer model with a new stock. It is getting harder to find the 9mm sub2000, especially for glock. Check out kickintheballs2000 video on all 3 carbines. VERY good information.

  • Yes, I've seen the new Hi-point 9mm stock at a gun store near where I live for $250, and it's quite the step up from the "ugly beauty" it was before in my opinion

Thank you though; I should check into those

  • Make sure you check out the keltec and hipoint forums. There are a lot of good people in both forums and you'll get much more info than i can provide.

  • Thank you & good point; I've noticed after viewing the Kel-tec forum link you have in the description that there's quite a selection of topics & issues, whether from possible set-ups to compatibility issues, to view, so I best take into account Hi-point's as well

  • Great video man , thanks for sharing and thanks for adding this as a vid responese to my video man.

    Mike

  • Thanks, yours was the original, it was the one that convinced me to get the keltec, the highpoint, and beretta. Got rid of the 995 and beretta, kept the keltec

  • great idea with the laptop case (i might just have to create a bug out system based on what i can fit in a laptop case) and i cant believe you found a uzi mag pouch for so cheap... a guy at army surplus wanted 35 dollars for one of those pouches...

  • Thanks for watching, this is my first long rifle video. I'm still trying to figure out the lighting, it came out a little darker than i would like.

  • That looks good in that OD green color i really like it. Good info on the other items thanks!!!
