For 2011 we are bringing new exibits to the Titanic Museum. If you are interested in seeing a piece of history come see it or check out our channel here on youtube. To jcruzan: great video thanks & for sharing.
I can hardly wait. I will at least get an up close and personal look at history. I have found out that in the 1953 movie, the ship had only 19 lifeboats. If you build a ship that way today with only 19 lifeboats, your ship building operations would be sunk. Titanic teaches us how to build ships and how not to build them.
I went about a year ago and I LOVED IT! There is a part of the "iceberg" that you get to touch, and you get to put your hand in the water it was freaking cold. The grandstaircase was so beautiful, the experience was amazing! You should all go you will not be dissapointed!
Yes, with the museum honoring James Cameron! The James Cameron was the one that had the most detail about the ship. I plan to do three blasts on the ship's whistle. One blast is for James Cameron, one for James Horner, and the third for DiCaprio. The 1953 movie had more of a modern approach to the Titanic and was not all that well authentic as the James Cameron versiion.
guys!this place is amazing!we went yesterday!!!u get to get in the water (same temperture) and u see how long u can go in it!its so cold that it feels like your in boiling hot water!it hurts like crazy !i dont know how people survived!!u even get to walk up part of the real grand staircase,go in real titanic rooms, and taste some of the food that got preserved!it is sooooooooo much fun, make sure u check it out!
