For me it was the best Fast and Furious yet, but one scene (well, lack of a scene) did dissapointment me as I felt its inclusion could have made this even better; there's a point when they go out to get a fast car by entering a pink slip race. Had they used this one moment to pay respect to the fact that this is a still a Fast and Furious film, and that the series started out as a street racing series, by showing the race I feel it would have been better.

of course this movie is far from art movie..but in its genre it is the best of the best, so for me it is FULL PRICE..and what i like even more is the criminals are portrayed as you and me, people who know working sucks and are not evil, just trying to make a living, and robbing from rich cocksukers makes it even more fair and entartaining to watch.. all around good movie.. and i would never say this for such action flicks, but yes, it was great-IN its Genre.. that is.. so, respect..

Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) will join the family. If you saw the ending credits of this one and they show , looked like the City of Tokyo. Think that is where the 6th one will pick up. The shots in this film were stunning. Especailly the shots of Rio with the mountain favellas and the business district. BTW, its wierd that after breaking Toreto out of jail and escaping to Rio, that Oconnor would allow Dom to start another hiest instead of laying low. But Toreto is the boss.

Afer seeing this one, watching the other ones feels kinda shabby. Especially the 2nd one, which I didn't like too much. Just a lot of Jackassing around. I liked the 3rd one. In no means a tutorial on how to drift. There is a book on that. Its called "How to Drift- THe art of Oversteer." Vin Desil's character was a bit more warm and fuzzy in this one, but still kept his hard edge. Still very violent. I think the next one should pick up sort of where the third one left off. I think......

This movie is almost the very definition of mind-numbing action, strung together by scenes pretending to be in a good film.

It's popcorn, 100%.

The most disappointing thing was that the Vin Diesel/Rock fight came out of nowhere - it wasn't set up at all, it's just sort of shoehorned into the story.

They're just doing something else completely, and we haven't seen the Rock or heard from his character for ages, and then all of the sudden he just strolls through a wide open door, immediately fights diesel, the scene ends - and that's it.

It's not helped by the fact that they put a tracker on him, but then did nothing with that development. After putting it on, he disappears for ages and then suddenly returns and announces he found it.

@wadafefe I think Quentin Tarantino was sitting in since the first one planning this out on the side. We had no idea that there were going to be prequels with more sequels after them. I am looking forward to the next one, but I hope its not just another Heist film. It reminded me more of The italian Job than Oceans. The scene with the volt was insane. Just wish it had more fast cars that we are use to. A lot of the cas were pretty much stock.

Sounds like you guys are just being haters on this one. "Fast Five" is very entertaining and an enjoyable time at the movies. The two car sequences were excellent and the fight between Vin & Rock was crazy. Still had plenty of babes and it was nice to see a lot of the cast members back.
