But how do you reconcile it with the fact that so many of those opposing that argument are Jews (at least by birth)? Some of the staunchest, eloquent and thoughtful opposition to Communist ideas comes from Jews.

As has been mentioned, Ayn Rand, Murray Rothbard, Milton Friedman, his son David Friedman, Robert Nozick and many other intellectuals are radical individualists/capitalists - about as far from Marxism as you can get.

Segregation is the product of authoritarianism, and not the liberalism that bore the American and French revolutions. The latter institution is opposed to racism and other collectivist philosophies, the former is a central tenet of Marxism and its derivatives in practice.
