Hi,

I don't have any relaxers in my hair, however about 2 months ago I dyed my hair with dye that was too strong for my hair type. I have a large bald spot in the back of my head. I just don't know what to do about it. Should I cut all my hair off and start over again. Or would it be better to nurse my hair bad to health.

@Trinifyier . I'm feeling your pain. I'm a 4a/4b type in my 6th month and I want to cut/relax it sooo because I too have some issues w frizziness and dryness. Try giving your hair a deep condition or a hot oil treatment after you wash it, that should help! :-)

I have no idea of exactly what type of afro/mixed hair I have. I'm of mixed afro and not all afro type products work for me so is there a site where you your hair type and whats best for the hair you have.

Hi I'm from the Caribbean and I'm currently growing my hair natural but the heat here makes my hair very dry so wearing a banded fro is difficult to keep neat and soft (especially at the roots to the front) so what can I use to keep my natural hair soft and shinny throughout the day here in sunny Caribbean.

It's only been about 10 weeks since my last relaxer. I've grown about 2 inches of hair. I only have 2 or 3 more weeks before my BC and all of a sudden the thought is intimidating lol. I did that same style when I was going on vacation. Except without the little plastic combs, I used bobby pins to replicate a fro-hawk. It didn't last the whole flight, but thank goodness I took pics of my hair before. It looked a mess after I arrived! lol!

I have been dying to use my combs for that same look. The problem that I have is that my curls in the front refuse to come forward. They are determined to go back.  I never need a headband because the hair there just grows that way. Any suggestions?
