Introducing Land Value Tax, eliminating Income Tax, and either severely curbing Goods And Services Taxation (or getting rid of it altogether) would redress the problems of inequality in our modern world. On top of this, obviously, comes the introduction of an INTEREST FREE banking system, run by the people for the people. USUARY is destroying the planet and its people - this is why Usuary is outlawed in all the worlds major religions.
I have enjoyed viewing a different perspective on the issue of poverty. It definitely is an eye opener into the problem.
Thanks for sharing the information Fred. I'm definitely going to obtain a copy of your book. I want to learn more and understand this situation more in depth.
NO It is not. We don't have capitalism in America. We have a highly regulated market system. I would say it is closer to Fascism than Capitalism. What we need is less government, not more. The problem is clear to me, big business and government work together to squander the working class. Government can not save us from big business, they can only pretend to save us while simultaneously making it easier for big business to squander us. We need Free Market Capitalism, not Fascism disguised.
It makes me want to throw up when I hear the Mainstream Media talking heads call this recession the failure of capitalism. It is the exact opposite. It is the failure of monetary policy mixed with government intervention. The government has failed miserably in almost everything they offer to do. And the biggest problem>>> THE FEDERAL RESERVE
The Federal reserve is a central bank that engages in economic central planning. They interfere with the market and set interest rates. They Failed!
There is a lot of vids of anthony de mello. That's his words i belive: there is no poverty problem in the world - there is a greed problem. He says - you can consider yourself poor if you dont have a milion dollars but someone else may have absolutly nothing and he will not feel poor. Greed problem because there is enough everything in the world for everyone, yet many suffer. why? - greed
I am still a little weary of your definition of greed? I mean who is greedy? I am self-interested but I mean where would you draw the line and say too much self-interest is greed. I don't think the problem is greed. I think the problem is government. To many people think that the government can save the people from "greedy" big business. But in Reality it is the government that enables big business to rip us off. I say its a problem of intellect. More people need to break the collectivist dogma
=) well the ultimate thing is propably awareness which is most important. By greed i understand not leaving room for anyone else. goverments work with big buisiness and banks to rip us off. i agree with breaking from the collectivist dogma. cheers!

Is he advocating Socialism?
I've been a Capitalist my whole life, but I'm really starting to wonder if maybe, just maybe Socialism is the answer for the future.

"Is he advocating Socialism?"
No. Just tax reform along the lines of "Georgism".
