Hey nice vid and i just bought a AUG electric full metal rifle 0448A from airsplat.com and i want to know wut the most accurate readings on its velocity is. Lots of people tell me like 370 but i want to upgrade it and get it into the mid 400s please msg me back and help me ASAP PCE!
Hey Godsairsofters, i have a question abt the battery part, if you cant put in a 9.6V battery on the rifle, is it possible if you replace the motor with a higher torqe motor does it give it a higher ROF? cause more torqe means more power to pull the spring...but i'm not fully sure if motors also play a roll on the ROF..could you shead some light on that? please and thanks.
Batteries, gears, and motors play an important roll in ROF. If your ROF is a bit slow, may be due either to the motor, gears, or you just need a lil' better battery.
hi airsofters just one question can i use a 7,4V Li-po battery in it?will this battery damage the inside parts?becouse this battery is pretty small. Thanks make more this very good instructional videos.
@crossfireairsoftgame no, it's just because of the inconsistency of the spring tension when it was made in the factory. Chinese manufacturers have a tendency to not be very consistent on their spring tensioning...
I never said the AUG cant go 450, it depends on what spring is in there and condition of the spring itself, what you said is that batteries affect fps which they dont.
Not a "job" unless you actually work for somebody and get paid for the work, i do my own work on all guns and i can prove to you right now that Lipo batteries do NOT affect FPS in any way shape or form. An airsmith is more or less a practice, people such as myself know the workings of every part, where they should go, how they should go, etc. We are the people that fix your guns when decide to be stupid.
BATTERIES DO NOT AFFECT FPS IF YOU THINK THAT THEN GTFO.
dude, NO, it doesnt. Im an airsmith, i know what im talking about, i do work on ALL of my guns and my buddies/teammates guns, i know what im talking about, you on the other hand...
No matter what battery, the spring gets pulled back the same amount every time, BATTERIES DO NOT AFFECT FPS AT ALL. I can shoot a JG gun on an 8.4 at 410 fps and on an 11.1v lipo at 410 fps, i can use a 9.6v and it will still shoot 410.
@bmil69 I'm sort of new to air soft and I need a gun that can compete with other aegs in a large field to close quarters game. I like bull pup designs and I like the versatility on this weapon but I'm not sure if it's good in parts wise. Would happen to know what springs and other internals that can make this aeg at it's best?
Field and CQB is quite different, they require two different FPS's, for instance, my local field games have an FPS limit of 400 and my CQB field has a limit of 300, because of this i have guns dedicated to each one with different springs in them. It all depends on FPS limits, but FPS doesnt make the gun, the barrel and hopup does. If you want an easy to upgrade gun, this is not it, M4's are easy to upgrade, but you want a bulpup so i would recommend a P90, its barrel is the same as a g36c
@bmil69 same bro, i too am an airsmith and sadly people dont get that the battery DOES NOT AT ALL mess with the muzzle velocity. i mean especially those who JUST STARTED and already think they're effin experts coz they disassembled and reassembled their gun for the FIRST FCKIN TIME. hate these people...
Chronographs are inaccurate things. They use a different chrono than we do and they may have a more recent version. JG seems to be upping their stock FPS rates.
@godsairsofters i hate how they do that with the fps, their fps was high enough before now its just way to high, anything over 410 is just insanely high in my opinion
@KingCosmo7 they are all different. A problem with the spring (something might require adjustment). Motor. Loss in FPS because of spring tension. An innacurate cronograph. It could be anything.
I recommend this one. My friend Colin has this (we actually just put up an accuracy test of it) and it RAPES! The only problem I can think of is that the magazines are expensive, but other than that it's amazing. Get one.
excellent vid. any mods to the gun since this? My AUG (just throwing it out there for ppl to cap on): jg aug a2 src metal bushings aim high torq gear set aim metal tooth piston 120 spring area 1000 spring guide 9.6 2300 tenergy fps: 417-420 ish outside the gun it is still stock. made my own m4 mags to make it look like a msar. and im trying to make a auto winding mag for it now. puzzled on how to mold the plastic on the gun to fit the second mag, other wise good.
OK, I need some help with my AUG, when i pull the trigger, it acts like it's trying to fire but it won't, and I want an honest opinion on what to do about it, should i try taking it apart or is there somewhere i could take it to get it repaired?
from what i understand, everything that is supposed to be metal is metal. the main plastic peice is the body, which is supposed to be a heavy duty plastic.
graftonben, you dont know anything. First of all, they are selling the gun for 179.99. That is an amazing price for this gun. On some ither webs like airsoft gi they were selling it for 220. most webs have em for 200-220
i have the upgraded version of this baby from evike, and i highly recomend it to ANYONE! it's the best damn gun i've used in i cant tell you how long, stick 25's in this puppy and you'll be snipeing anyone from veterans to noobs with this baby, reliable, hard shooting, and just strait up epic in every way. i love this gun. 5 stars. i just cant figure out how the fuck to take the rail system off so i can get to the barrell underneath, its a pain in the ass.
Besides using the 8.4v stock battery...are you suggesting you want a higher voltage battery like 9.6v? If so, you can, but due to limited space in back of the gun which the mosfet and gearbox consumes most of the space you have few options. A 9.6v battery will do but you can either modify your rear stock of the gun or you can get a customized 9.6v battery. I suggest using a butterfly configuration and nunchuck perhaps. Otherwise it's up to you to modify the end of your gun. Hope that helped.
I know. I might have one this weekend and I might just use it to make people mad. Or maybe delta 1 will let me trick out the AUG with a bipod and launcher and all that lovely stuff. If I do do it. I'll be sure to film it.
Why are chrono's on this gun so mixed? On flankers tankers his chrono's are like 320's. davidmei20's are like 340's now yours are in the 370's. what the heck is the real out of box fps lol?
This is. I have not used this gun at all in any skirmishes, battles, wars or anything. At max, the gun has had 250 rounds through it prior to this Chrono reading.
i really want this gun, been saving up for awhile. reviews say it shoots at 450 fps, but yours shoots 410, what's with that? maybe they fixed em up or something?
I do not know. What we are going to do with mine is cut off the flash hider entirely and get a longer barrel and a silencer. I can't help you right now, but once we get around to removing the tip, I will get back to you.
For once this is a short one, if you're hoping to save some cash, on airsoftmegastore, if you type in RETURN5 in the Coupon Code Box, you save 5% on your whole order...just wondering if you knew
I knew that. It is perfectly fine that you leave long comments. I would recommend a 9.6v battery. The battery that the gun comes with has a terrible rate of fire because it is only 1100maH. The only problem with getting a 9.6v is that the battery space in the AUG is extremely limited because the gearbox and all that good stuff is in the stock of the gun. On my old Double Eagle AUG, we removed the butt-plate and put a 9.6v battery in it with an elastic strap. I would not recommend that though.
Delta 1 seems to know how to mod the battery compartment so once he does that, I can fit the 9.6v nunchuk mini-type. That should increase the rate of fire dramatically because the nunchuk type is 2300maH. You really should get an extra mag if this is going to be your main weapon. The mags only hold 300-330 rounds. (2)
Also, if you are gonig to get the silicon oil spray, I would call airsoftmegastore directly and ask them if you can use the spray on all guns. You wouldn't want to waste your money on something you can't use right? You shoud also invest in some optics. The gun does come with 'iron' sights, but they are really cheap plastic and when I tried to put them on my gun, they broke. XP. So definitely get a scope or something. I bought a Eo-551 Holo Sight from airsoftmegastore for $90.
It is the sight from that mission in Call Of Duty 4 when you are the Marines and it is at night and you start out on a highway and you have to go rescue a tank. If you can remember that mission, you will know what you are getting. So, yeah. Wow, I typed alot. Those are the tips I would give you about the gun. If you have anymore questions let me know.
I apologize for leaving such long comments and replies but I'm so hyped for this gun...question for Freezer since seeing he owns the gun, would you recommend a 9.6v battery? (I found one cheaper on the same site, airsoftmegastore, the $23 one) check it out if you can and should I get an extra magazine and that silicon oil spray (50ml)? The image on the spray says for gas guns, but I think its for all types...so what do you think?
And again, I'm truly sorry for the long dreading comments.
Good chrono review, I was looking for some video's about the gun because I've just ordered it yesterday. Looking forward to the mod video for the battery, sounds very helpful. Thanks!
There are almost no full reviews of this gun on YouTube. We will be making a full video review for it this weekend. Please check our channel this weekend for the video. Don't forget to subscribe!
Oh thank you, that's what I've been waiting to hear...the other videos on this gun are 2 in fact, 1 in a language I don't understand and the other just killing off the other team saying "Sweet"
I've decided and I'm set on getting this gun...I definitely want a 'different' gun. (Plus there aren't many bad things about this gun, I just don't like the M4 S-System because everyone has it and sometimes has defects like drooling out 5 bb's rather than shooting
Zenkotsu i recommend you the JG M4S - system thats more stronger and accurate! but if u want a good looking gun thats the AUG-A3 but its ur choice! i have a JG aug-a3 and a m4s system! my m4s is more srtronger for me lol!:D
hmm...thank you, I'll take that into consideration, I'm glad you out of anyone responded quickly. I just however might get it, but only two problems I have with it are:
1.) People I play with have it
2.) I've seen and have a friend that has a malfunctioning M4 S-System where it shoots only 5-10 feet in front of you with 5-6 bb's at the same time
I just want primarily fps and range and reliability of course...thnx
OK...so the JG AUG A3 has been on my mind for a couple of weeks non-stop, I want to get a gun that's different, but I'm picking between 3 guns, the JG AUG A3, M4 S-System 2009v, or JG 614, which in overall do you recommend, regardless of my want for the JG AUG A3...?
I would not recommend the JG 614. the AUG is a 'different' gun. The M4 S-System is a good weapon also. It shoots just as hard as the AUG. It is really up to you. If you are going for different, then get the AUG. If you want normal then go for the M4.
No. It does not come with one. There is a place on the front of the gun where you could attach one, like on a normal AUG. But, no, a front grip is not included.
Oh my God change!

godsairsofters 2 years ago
Worth buying it for 190$ ?
mariusns1 2 years ago
The AUG? Definitely. Thats actually really cheap. AirsoftGI charges $220
--Freezer
godsairsofters 2 years ago
To bad you can't use it any skirmishes because of the FPS being to high
will122391 2 years ago
I know. I might have one this weekend and I might just use it to make people mad. Or maybe delta 1 will let me trick out the AUG with a bipod and launcher and all that lovely stuff. If I do do it. I'll be sure to film it.

all i have to say is holy crap this is good compression the cycle and seem like the piston has great seal on it
kingd3001 2 years ago
Why are chrono's on this gun so mixed? On flankers tankers his chrono's are like 320's. davidmei20's are like 340's now yours are in the 370's. what the heck is the real out of box fps lol?
MikeGause 2 years ago
This is. I have not used this gun at all in any skirmishes, battles, wars or anything. At max, the gun has had 250 rounds through it prior to this Chrono reading.

godsairsofters 2 years ago
ok, thank you for your response
MikeGause 2 years ago
i really want this gun, been saving up for awhile. reviews say it shoots at 450 fps, but yours shoots 410, what's with that? maybe they fixed em up or something?
TheGreatAnnoyer 2 years ago
450? What reviewer says that?

Nice video, Ive been waiting for this video cause i wanna buy 1..
Anyway, Do you know how to remove the flash hider of that gun?
warfreak2005 2 years ago
We will make a video on how to remove the flash hider soon. You will probably see a video on that in the next month.

I melted the glue with a blow dryer to get mine off.
But now my threads are stripped so it wont go back on. Can i just glue it back on? What glue should I use?
polishdannybob 2 years ago
I do not know. What we are going to do with mine is cut off the flash hider entirely and get a longer barrel and a silencer. I can't help you right now, but once we get around to removing the tip, I will get back to you.

For once this is a short one, if you're hoping to save some cash, on airsoftmegastore, if you type in RETURN5 in the Coupon Code Box, you save 5% on your whole order...just wondering if you knew
Zenkotsu 2 years ago
I knew that. It is perfectly fine that you leave long comments. I would recommend a 9.6v battery. The battery that the gun comes with has a terrible rate of fire because it is only 1100maH. The only problem with getting a 9.6v is that the battery space in the AUG is extremely limited because the gearbox and all that good stuff is in the stock of the gun. On my old Double Eagle AUG, we removed the butt-plate and put a 9.6v battery in it with an elastic strap. I would not recommend that though.
godsairsofters 2 years ago
Delta 1 seems to know how to mod the battery compartment so once he does that, I can fit the 9.6v nunchuk mini-type. That should increase the rate of fire dramatically because the nunchuk type is 2300maH. You really should get an extra mag if this is going to be your main weapon. The mags only hold 300-330 rounds. (2)
godsairsofters 2 years ago
Also, if you are gonig to get the silicon oil spray, I would call airsoftmegastore directly and ask them if you can use the spray on all guns. You wouldn't want to waste your money on something you can't use right? You shoud also invest in some optics. The gun does come with 'iron' sights, but they are really cheap plastic and when I tried to put them on my gun, they broke. XP. So definitely get a scope or something. I bought a Eo-551 Holo Sight from airsoftmegastore for $90.
godsairsofters 2 years ago

Zenkotsu 2 years ago
Idk.. Never heard of no 411.7..
Conemption 2 years ago
Well.... I dunno. I never heard of no Chronic.... lol
--Freezer
godsairsofters 2 years ago
Zenkotsu i recommend you the JG M4S - system thats more stronger and accurate! but if u want a good looking gun thats the AUG-A3 but its ur choice! i have a JG aug-a3 and a m4s system! my m4s is more srtronger for me lol!:D
YupyYup 2 years ago
hmm...thank you, I'll take that into consideration, I'm glad you out of anyone responded quickly.
Zenkotsu 2 years ago
OK...so the JG AUG A3 has been on my mind for a couple of weeks non-stop, I want to get a gun that's different, but I'm picking between 3 guns, the JG AUG A3, M4 S-System 2009v, or JG 614, which in overall do you recommend, regardless of my want for the JG AUG A3...?
Zenkotsu 2 years ago
I would not recommend the JG 614. the AUG is a 'different' gun. The M4 S-System is a good weapon also. It shoots just as hard as the AUG. It is really up to you. If you are going for different, then get the AUG. If you want normal then go for the M4.
--Freezer
godsairsofters 2 years ago
The AUG also has the better internals. A mosfet and 7mm ball earing bushings.
shift9303 2 years ago
Isn't the AUG A3 suppose to come with a foldable front grip?
tuck234 2 years ago
No. It does not come with one. There is a place on the front of the gun where you could attach one, like on a normal AUG. But, no, a front grip is not included.
