They have never once tried to "rope me in" or tried to "rope in" anyone we were helping. Last month we worked all weekend packing meals for starving children. We paid for it out of our pockets and packed enough meals for 350 children worldwide for a year. Not one child will ever know who packed that meal for them. I volunteer with secular organizations too.

They rarely give a dime to anybody unless they get something back. In the North, money is donated without strings attached. The religious groups goes on missionary trips, gives desperate people a sandwich or an apple and then expect the people to change their local culture and faith and receive Jesus Christ instead.

It again is an effort by the church group to rope-in as many people as possible. 2. When you do this type of work for a church you become one of the "Good" guys in the church. They have never once tried to "rope me in" or tried to "rope in" anyone we were helping. Last month we worked all weekend packing meals for starving children. We paid for it out of our pockets and packed enough meals for 350 children worldwide for a year. Not one child will ever know who packed that meal for them. I volunteer with secular organizations too.

There are many studies that support the fact liberals are less likely to give and less likely to give to charities that address human suffering. Why not go read and educate yourself and look inward? LOL! I was 16 and on 5-MeO-AMT, cocaine, shrooms, plus plenty of weed and liquor (it was new years eve, do it big). We at least had a futon but in a freezing cold attic. And she was Muslim. Obviously not too devout though ;)
