  • since doing this vid have u tried any gel nails that do need a uv lamp? i'm curious and someone told me that u can get some great deals on ebay including the uv lamp

  • what great results!!!

  • your nails look good. :) But to make sure all that hard work didn't go to waste, there's a couple things you should do in the future (this is a vid from a while ago-im sure youre better now) Stay away from your cuticles when applying the gel. It moves quickly- 1mm should be spaced between the gel & cuticles. Your tips are a file where the tip and your real nail meets for a more natural look. These are some points to work on before making a tutorial or the viewer might make the same mistakes. :)

  • "i think i hear my husband singing to himself in the other room" hahaha lol love it.. great vid! i wanna try the gel..ive only tried the acrylic kits :)

  • you got ripped off. It cost me 9 dollars for the same gel uv kit.

  • Some of you commenting need to have a word with yourselves. There's constructive criticism, then there's being plain rude. Get a grip, she did well for a first time.

  • 2 much talking, just get to the point

  • Thanks heaps for this! I live in Australia and I bought this kit, and so far you are the only one to have made a video showing how you do it, because i really wanted to see how others were doing the process with this kit incase I did it wrong ^^" So thank you! And they looks so gorgeous <3

  • I don't think they look bad, they look like they would look if you got them professionally done, when going that long, they don't look as natural imo anyways. But they still are cute, and better looking than the ones I got professionally done.

  • background song: LAST LETTER by AOYAMA THELMA

  • whats the song played at the beginning?? it sounds so familiar, but i just can't put my finger on it.....

  • I lOVE UR NAILS.

  • I wanted to kno if its possible to use regular nail polish on the gel nails and how u would apply it? Thanx wonderful video!!

  • I love your nails they look great. I like the way you explain step by step and it takes courage to expose your talent infront of mature & the peanut brains like the ones that are are obviously jealous of you and are posting all this jealousy thru here. Keep up the good work and just brush off the little children ;)

  • Ohhhhh, I LOVE your nails....good job!

  • I think it's an informative tutorial that explains well, it's just the result that doesn't suit her nails. She have extremely short nail beds and these glued-on tips make them look even shorter which results in a dwarf-looking something. She should definitely use something that optically lengthens her nails for instance a nude matte gel that covers the shortness of the nail beds. And of course, she can still form a white tip onto the tip of the nail to make it a french manicure.

  • Great job!!

  • your video is very useful for me, thank you so much.

  • sorry bout saying yuu talk to much but ur nails came out very pretty

  • You don't talk too much. You explain well. The UM'S are annoying. Nice job on your nails and video.

  • Thanks I just bought a kit like this and I wanted to see someone else use it first. lol. Good tutorial. I'll be trying mine out soon.

  • your nails look really good i can't get my nails real or not to look like any thing as cute as yours Im a fan of purple think i could try it with a color on the tips?

  • @navitrolla

    Couldn't agree with u more.

  • Acrylic can be flexible with right products and right top coats. You just have to know a lot about what ur doing :)

  • Gosh i wish manicare was cheaper

  • The Video Wus Amazing..... I Went To Beauty School And Just a Lil Info For You Add A Lil More At The Smile Line. It Will Help The Support Of Your Nails =D Even If You Are Talkitive It Is Allot Better Then The Other Videos On Here Where There Is No1 Saying Anything. Dnt Worrie Wut The Negative People Have To Say U Did A Great Job =D Keep Up The Good Work.

  • Hey, how long did these darlings last?? They look better than the stuff I've had in salons~

  • @Fraiseo they lasted a few weeks - pretty much until i had to infill them. ^_^

  • Your'e so cute, esp when you so apologize for talking too much, cause I m the same way! Ive been into this gel nail thing lately with the 3D art and all....Your video is very informative! Thank you for sharing, you rock, gurrrrrrrrrrl!

  • Actually, your nails look awful. Way too much white, and it has nothing to do with the length of your nailbeds. It's about balance and proper sizing. They're lumpy and really artificial-looking. Which I understand they are, but they're not supposed to look like it that much. Also, I think they're too square for your fingers. Keep practicing.

  • @joesolderwoman0814 Well i guess its all about personal preference. These actually came out a LOT smoother then when i've even gotten them done at a pro salon. As for them being too long - I personally don't see the point in going through with this and applying fake nails - if you only want them really short. And I prefer them square because they don't catch as much and rounded. As for them looking artificial I suppose that speaks for its self.

    ^_^

  • @BonBonDokiDoki square catches round doesnt the round is more smooth so u saying that made no sense square catches cuz it has a sharp pointed edge unlike round think about what ur saying next time n u will see it may not make sense

  • @01Avrilgirl actually square shouldn't catch at all as long as the edges are rounded and it's a smooth edge. if the edges are jagged or there is a sharp corner, of course it will catch - but why anyone would want jagged nails or sharp corners on their nails is beyond me.

  • @joesolderwoman0814 ummm IF youve ever gotten your nails done at a salon, then youd know they DO make your nails SQUARE. so dont even try to dog on her, honestly.

  • Damn you talk ahella lot !! before you even started

  • The tips of your nails are down to low i don't really like how it looks

  • @eraser544321 my nail beds are naturally long - i put them just above the smile line. this way it looks a lot more natural than applying them further up the nail bed. It's all about personal preference and the way your own nails grow :)

  • i really dont like it when you say your talking to much.. you explain really well. and its a plus! this vid was so helpful. thanks

  • @blackkdiamondx thankyou for the kind words ^_^

  • I love it how you talk through this, really helps rather then those stupid pop up thingys, this really helped me! Dont listen to what people say, YOU REALLY HELPED ME! My sister got me the kit and i didnt have the slightest clue, this is fab! Thanks so much! Thumbs up! :')

  • Where do you live, because I've never seen this kit? btw, I love your nails they're gorgeous :)

  • is there an odour to gel nails?

  • @Angele905 this one had an off scent. kind of like nail varnish but not as strong. but it faded once it's dry.

When I got salon pro gel nails done I didn't notice much of a scent to them

  • @BonBonDokiDoki ya see i just started to do acrylics and omg! the scent nearly knocked me out! so i was hoping no scent for the gels, but i found a site that sells no odor acrylics and gels, so we will see how true that is when i receive the product! :P

    thanks for the reply:)

  • @Angele905 haha yeah - when i first started doing arcrylics - i absolutely hated the smell :P

  • @BonBonDokiDoki ya its potent, i literally cant take it!

  • very beautiful!! im planning to do my own nails [instead of spending money for something i can do myself...and cheaper] and i been searching endlessly on how to do them professionally. =) now i found u! lol but whr did u get ur set from? because i was looking at the set in Sally's, and it had everything you are naming.

  • @tmc031293 I think this set has been discontinued - or its really hard to find because I haven't been able to find it for a while :(

I think though, as long as it has the same products in it - it should work!

Good luck with it - let me know how they turn out if you try them! ^_^

  • @BonBonDokiDoki =)!! okay! thk you so much! and my mom and i are actually about to leave out and get a pack and some other stuff; if i have the time ill post a video and give you a shoutout!! =) thk you again! be blesssed.

  • Lovley! Ignore those bastards commenting.

  • iiiiiiiii loveeeee your'e nailssssssssssss there so shine

  • great video!!!! thanks.....

  • The nails look lovely and its a good tutorial, but there is a ringing noise in the background...which is a bit annoying. Idk if you can fix that somehow? :) Otherwise good vid ^_^

  • god your a windbag, but nice nails

  • I like when people talk a lot, that way stupid people like me don't have to ask so many questions :P Thanks for this, i love doing my own nails

  • damn girl im sorry but 8 minute video... the whole nail could have been finished they look cute though

  • your nails look really nice ignore the people who are being rude

  • @LottieElizabeth thank you ^_^ its always nice to receive a positive comment after some crappy ones :P

  • @LottieElizabeth her nails amazing!!!

  • U TALK TO MUCH! =)

  • you talk too much!!!

hahaha jk but this video turned out great! And love the nails! Very pretty.

  • @MermaidLove91 na its ok we all know the truth

  • " I Think My Husbands Singing In The Backgroud.. Im Not Hurtin Him He's Just Singing".. lol =D

  • Good Job! and I like that you talk alot I do too and it's better than some people's lame music.

  • Great vid !!!

    5***** love it .

  • I love this :) Thanks~

Is there anything else you could probably do with the kit? besides french manicures and tips?

btw- I love the comment on your husbands singing xD I have no idea why, but I laughed. :)

  • @Ppun some of my friends have used this without tips or anything, just the gell over top of their natural nail, to stop them from biting their nails or strengthen their nails so they grow longer :)

  • you should use the dark blue side to file your natural nail because the light blue side is just a buffer.. the rougher your natural nail is, the better they will stay.. so far so good though

  • BonBon, do you know what kind of white tips you used?

  • @desrob77 I'm pretty sure they were from Manicare and they're the French White Tips. You can buy them in a big pack, and they're all different sizes to fit your nails

  • do they last as long??

  • It's hilarious that you know that you talk so much. But it IS better then the other videos with all that techno music. :) Keep it up love!

  • Wow...I can't belive how rude some people are. They must be very miserable people and have nothing better to do then dis otehr people. LOVE the video. Ignore the rude comments.

  • @aceofharts85 thank you - it's really nice to read some encouraging comments after some really rude ones. ^_^

  • I can not get past the reeeeeeeeally LOUD ringing noise in the background. This may have been a decent video if it wasn't for the ringing.

  • @coldvolcanicash i think that would be from the camera I was using.. it's a pain in the bum to record with. Sorry bout the ringing.

  • @BonBonDokiDoki It's okay. :)

  • ok so, I have really short nails because i kind of bite them. could i still do my own gel nails with a kit like this?

  • @anonymouse8342 I would probably suggest trying to let them grow a little so that the tips have more to grip and hold on to, because my only thought would be that the tips might snap off because the edge is so short and a little damaged.

I will be doing a new tutorial/review on a gel product that will help you grow your nails and make them much stronger, so watch out for that.

But if you want to try it out, go ahead, and let me know how it goes or if u wait it out let me know ^_^

  • can i get a similar kit from sallys beauty supply?

  • @nguyen881 I'm not sure, we don't have sally's beauty supply here in Australia but they might carry something similar.

  • hey hope it's okey to comment when you have something nice to say ;) I'm just kidding!

BUT! what I'm not kidding about is that your vid is amazing! i really really like it. I'm gonna buy a set almost like this tommorow and Iøm so looking forward to trying it! And I think I'll be using your video while I'm doing my naails with the set :) you give such good instructions! and I love that you explain so much instead of some people not saying anything about what they are doing!

    love your vid! :D

  • @DKzChili haha omgosh thank you so much haha. Let me know how your kit goes and what kit you used :)

P.S i love the nail designs on your channel!

  • @BonBonDokiDoki thank you so much for liking my videos :)

  • theyr ok, just ok, ans thats too much

  • ok your nails are ok! and you need to stop being rude to your viewers! obviously if you took the chance of posting it to youtube thats means you took the chance of people commenting on your video that means being negative or positive! n by the way your nails are cute but theres a better kit that you can get so you can show it on your next video!! :)

  • @mumi2485 I understand your comment, but the people who are so blatantly rude to me, are the people I am rude back for. I suppose I havent been as gracious as I could of been but when your constantly being told something in a rude manner that you're already aware of and have addressed it gets under your skin. From now on i'll try to be more gracious of those people and just ignore it.

Srry for the long msg back. And yea, I'll be trying some more kits out soon if you have any recommendations ^_^

  • i actually dont mind you talking!!! no joke, probably cause i babble too!!!

  • @monsterskb haha aww why thank you. ^_^ it's nice to know that some people like to ramble on as much as i do! :P

  • im sorry but u talk way too much

  • @888kathy congrats captain obvious.

  • u talk to much

  • @babybluerocker101 congrats captain obvious.

  • Love the nails :D

  • Does the gel nail last long?

  • my computer somehow takes forever to load and all im watching id U TALK TALK TALK TALK TALK all day long... more than HALF of this video was about u blabbing. no offense it just bothers me. i just want to learn how to do this......

  • @XxLuvMeh then watch a different video?

  • I can't find this kit anywhere. Kiss is "ok" but i'd like to try this one. Anyone know where to get it online?

  • this helped soo much thanks

  • this is soo wrong u need to deehydrate the nails 1st and also u should be pushing cuticles bak 1st and removing any excess skin with cuticle nippers then u should be etching the nail(filing) with ruff file to take all oils away from skin so gel and acrylic stick to ur natural nail also once u have filed nailu cant touch nail with ur fingers or the towel as u r putting oils bak on nail u should be usuing a nail brush to remove excess dust and the nail is sqint as fuck

  • @ooochazzaooo uh..hi... I don't see any instructive videos on your channel so unless your going to make some to show "how much better" your are at this than I am... shh.

If you don't like the video .. don't watch. It's as simple as that. Obviously your recent history on your channel shows all you do is hate on people, so again, if you can do this so much better than everyone else ~ go ahead an make a video.

  • whats the difference between ge nails and acrylic nails? send me a message if you know ;P thanks !

  • the gel she is using here is a no light gel. no light gel is just resin and glue. uv gel is a gel that is brushed on to the nail. uv gel have to br cured under a uv lamp. acrylic is made of acrylic powder and acrylic liquid. so yeah one is gel and the other is powder and liquid.

  • gel nails are made from acrylates and polymers just like acrylics, the main difference is that acrylic nails are a stronger substance, where as gels have a bit more flexability to them. It's a definite preference thing

  • looks like they are professionally done(: good work! xD

  • they look very nice

  • WOW! thnx for the great tutorial and the lovely "full house' music. I love you Korean guys and always follow your tutorials to do my nails and hair.

    keep up the good work

  • Mine only cost 10.00 from CVS Its called Cosmar Quik Nails Brush-On Gell Nail Kit

  • I was thinking of buying it, is it any good?

  • @DarkTifa89 I liked the kit & it worked well for me ^_^

  • @BonBonDokiDoki you used the Cosmar brand?

  • @MiiZZPhresh09 I got the same kit... problem was the tips. They were like this inverted v shape (part that gets stuck to your nail). maybe it was an old kit but i kept the gel and all that and threw the tips away. I ended up getting the ASP lightless gel kit from Sallys and I loooooove that one. I want to try the Cosmar again with different tips this time and see how it goes because I liked how it came with brushes.

  • here in greece i can't find a gel nail kit....... :(

  • did the gel dry fast because i thought u needed a uv lamp...reply please:}

  • So you did not need to put this under a UV? Is it a soak off removal? Thanks for the video!

  • Good video ! your funny dont worry i talk a lot too (: lol

  • OK THANKS :) XX

  • WHATS THE POINT IN BUYING THE TIPS WHEN YOU ALREADY GET THEM WITH THE SET/KIT? ARE THEY ANY DIFFERENT WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY? x IM NOT BEING HORRIBLE IM JUST WONDERING COS I WNAH KNOW SO I KNOW WHICH ONES TO BUY :)

  • the ones that came with the kit were off white and i wanted pure white ones. also the seperate nails i bought had a lot of nails in them so i could use a lot. i did use the off white ones though with my sister

  • because maybe yo dont like the tips..

  • the kits are cheaper then buying each individual product for a reason... the reasons are: less product, smaller implements, and not the BEST tips made. so sometimes it lasts longer to buy the best tips for your needs. =)

  • gr8 video, i did my nails yesterday and they look fab :-)

1 problem my brush has gone hard already, how do i clean it so thatthis doesn't happen again.....

  • I would suggest using acetone - but don't let the ferrule of the brush get into the acetone because the bristles may loosen and fall out & you may want to keep an eye on it to make sure the bristles aren't getting damaged. Also you can try going to a beauty supply store and finding out if they have Gel Cleanser or Gel Brush Cleaner Solution which you can use instead of acetone which is probably a better idea

  • I don't think you talk too much. You are staying on topic so its helpful.

  • This is the best tutorial for gel nails...i think mines came out pretty good...thx...next time don't talk too much...xoxo

  • Omg thankyou ! :DD

  • You're so cute and friendly. ^.^ Thanks for the great step-by-step explanations! It's hard to find good tutorials. I'll keep watching. :D

  • dont like it de nails are flat

  • your nails are AMAZING! especially for not being sone at a salon.

  • Lol "the dark blue side gives me shivers down my spine because its so rough" Lmao

I am obsessed with your nails :) x

  • lol =^_^=

    thank you so much!

  • Go to 7:58 to see first nail glued on, finally!

  • you shouldn't really touch the nail after buffing the shine off as then you will be putting the oils back onto the nail when touching it...n your whites are too big! make them smaller to balance out your natural nail..thats when you will find they will snap n break off..but defo love the kit has i have used it once before....

  • nice american accent, except "SALon" should be "saLON"

  • Fantastic American accent ;-)

  • I enjoyed watching your tutorial. I forget the name you used for that nail clipper. It was hilarious. I'm a penny pincher and is interested in this kit but I'm not paying $25 for it, lol. I found a similar kit on Sally Beauty Supply for $14.95. It's called All Seasons No Lite Gel Kit if anyone is interested.

  • It's a similar kit...Hers is from Australia where she is....Just look for the gel kit that is no light or lightless no need for the UV lamp..yay....Kiss has a kit also.

  • LOL your really funny hahaha.

  • you can get a kit like that from sallys beauty supply for 15 dollars your nails look great

  • You're fingers alone are amazing, sorry had to mention it, lol.

  • Mine takes 5 (less) To dry

  • dam ur nails look great

  • how long does it take to cure one layer of gel ?? i think its awesome you can do this system without using a lamp but doesn't it take forever to cure?

  • no not at all! if I did my thumb for example by the time i got to my ring finger my thumb was dry. so about 45 - to 60 seconds to dry - it was really fast ^_^

  • wow! that`s even faster than with a lamp another question don't you have to remove the sticky layer , i didn't see you do that? i really like this system but i am afraid i will not be availeble here in Spain.

  • with the set that I got there was no sticky layer? Have you tried searching on ebay for different brands? ^_^

  • after applying base gel you apply builder gel after curing under lamp you have to remove the sticky layer thats left on the nail because most of the time the builder gel cures for like 98% so theres still some sticky gel left you also remove that after applying topgel, you remove that with a gel cleanser.with the system you use you can skip a lot of steps, and work a lot faster. i also noticed that your nails look very shiny without using a topcoat gel or anything. you did a great job !

  • yeah they were so shiny! and thank you so much ^_^

  • Your tutorial is really good, but I think the white tips are too long.

  • You can cut tips to any length you wish to have x

  • Favourite!!!!

  • Thanks for replying to my question, I favorited your video :)

  • You're completely welcome and thank you! ^_^

  • Super glad that people do this sort of thing, really helps those of us who have no idea where to start. Paper instructions never come close to a real time video, thankyou sooo much they look great.

  • who were you listening to? it sounds like utada :) does this tutorial work for the broadway nail kit by kiss as well? your nails look awesome by the way! :3

  • nails are fly ,girl!

  • ^_^ aww, thank you so much!

  • You nails are so pretty I think they look better then getting them done at a salon:)
