  • Wrong he retired and went to Epynt

  • John Stone is still driving his Hyundai. He retired in the North West Stages 2009

  • John Stone crashed his Metro on the North West Stages 2009 along the promenade I was there.

  • I know i got mixed up. He hit a wall, my mistake. I was thinking of No.1 who packed up on the Saturday and went to the Rally of Epyn when things weren't going his way.

  • Steve Simpson's snapped a shaft on the North West Stages 2009

  • Looka like a split stage so the WRC cars are probably driven by lesser drivers. That said 6R4s can still be competitive but most are switching now. Mark Jasper who had a really sweet sounding Metro now has a Cossie and Legend (John Stone running #3 in this video) has a Hyundai WRC. Such a shame because the Metro is such a great car for the sport because it's interesting and sounds great, unlike the popping and banging of Cossie backing off.

  • The Promenade Stages are Split stages yes. Im competing in the one this saturday (6th September)...

I wouldnt say the people in the WRC Impreza are "Lesser Drivers". The seeding for the Prom is based on Champ Position, and when you manage to get your entry in. There are bigger and faster cars seeded after us, as we got our entry in first :D

  • The wrc cars don't look like they have huge advantage over the 6r4's

    Go 6r4's

  • cool

  • 57 seconds, he misssssses a shift bad
