I was working backstage during Matt's set at Hillside Festival in Guelph on Saturday night and he blew us away. Four standing ovations in a 45 minute set! The crowd called him out for an encore which is unusual due to a tight schedule. If he's playing in your area, go see him!!

I know good blues when hear it and this guy is damned good. What's really cool is that it's old and new and once. Instead of doing the standard guitar god scorching an old Muddy Waters or Jimmy Reed tune routine, he's written a song about one of everyday life's irritants.That's how the blues started,right?
