  • THIS IS HIP HOP YOU YOUNG SHEEP.

  • @bishoptaint this is when rap was good ...

  • nice

  • This is one of those rare songs that could have come out in the 80’s, 90’s, or 2000’s and still been well-received. We tend not to think of rap music as having qualities such as timelessness - and maybe most of them don’t - but this one definitely does. One of the all-time greats, without a doubt.

  • I hope PE does a song with MTV RiFF RAFF.

  • Loved this album

  • Terminator X. One of the most underrated DJs in the history of hip hop

  • I use to bump P.E. all the time here in L.A. This shit is like PAC timeless, P.E. is GOLD! Im a public enemy in the end r you?

Brother to brother not another as sincere

Teach a man how to be father

To never tell a woman he can't bother

You can't say you don't know

    What I'm talkin' 'bout

But one day ... brothers gonna work it out

  • I'm going to see PE tonight, they're doing this whole album!!!!

As we rumble, from our lower level!!!!

  • Ok Here Is A Secret "Thats My Bitch" from 'Watch The Throne' Beat ....Ur Welcome

  • One of the best breaks in existence... Period... Long live P.E. and The Bomb Squad!!

  • classic

  • It all comes down to the layers of sounds, samples, and soul. Then, take the authoritative voice of Chuck D with the syncopated or at least slightly pushed flow with the lyrics of the god. Real recognize real, but that soul is undeniable. Shout out to the BombSquad. Public Enemy #1!!!!!!!

  • Real hip hop hardcore... p diddy, 50, jay z all suckers they aint sayin nothing REVOLUTION DOWN WITH THE NWO......

  • @conspr33 man get jay out that sentence that aint true

  • I STILL BELIEVE BROTHERS GONNA WORK IT OUT ...AND WHEN WE DO NIGGAS BETTER RUN...

  • In my not so humble opinion, the Best, most memorable track from easily the GREATEST HIP HOP RECORD EVER PRODUCED!

  • This song was made for those of us who attended the 1989 GreekFest in Virginia Beach. Of course the truth was never publicized. The "Official" story was that we were just a horde of rowdy and unruly miscreants. Anyone who was there knows what happened and what we experienced. PE put it in a song for us.

  • @yusufmhassan what happened that day bro

  • @TheTMoney87 Part 1 - It wasn't just a particular day, it was the entire weekend. I was there in 88 too. There were reports of many participants being rowdy, looting and ransacking stores and property. So in 89, the police force tried to impose a curfew on us and we weren't having it. There were never curfews imposed on Spring Break (attended by mostly whites) so why should Greekfest (attended by mostly blacks) have a curfew.

  • @TheTMoney87 Part 2 - we partied just like a large group of teens and young adults from any other race would have. We were subjected to extremely excessive police harassment, abuse of power, racial profiling and brutality (in some cases). Keep in mind we were a conscious force during this error not to be compared to the 'rap' crowds. so when we had enough, we fought back. many of us were arrested and charged with assault on officers and even a few charged with attempted murder.

  • @TheTMoney87 Part 3 - I don't know what became of most of those of us who were arrested. The charges against my two brothers, about 5 of my phrat brothers and about 10 friends were dropped.

  • @yusufmhassan it sounds like a weekend of racism, hell, and prison.

  • @yusufmhassan it sounds like a weekend of racism, hell, and prison.

  • Polly Wannacracker?

  • "History, not his story" ...awesome. So much for high school history textbooks glorifying Pres. Washington preaching the land of the free, and then owning +200 slaves... Who the fuck told you America is not censored? They lied to you.

  • 20 years later and it all turned to shit. Mayday Mayday -where the fuck are the S1W's when you need 'em??

  • @wassibidude hmmm true true but i dont think it really took off until gangster rap got really popular.

  • quite possibly, the best band of all time.

  • THE RYTHM THE REBEL!!!

  • one of public enemy's best. 20 years later, dope as ever.

  • This is tough relentless music.Tight innovative, samples matched by the vocal presence of Flavor Flav and the drill instructor mentality of Chuck D.Public Enemy was smart, and had something to say.Today's rap is intectually lazy. Now it's mostly hacks looking for a cheap hit(via MTV or BET)."Duuuhhhh I want a Bentley and uhhh lots of uhhh money."Idiots.Even their samples are blantant ripoffs of old hits. There is a really good song on Youtube...."No Jumper Cables(DJ Pawl Remix)" by Aesop Rock...

  • Power old school is in tha housssse!!!

P.E. is the most powerful EVER,not just "those days!"

  • .... and stop chasin.

  • Back when Hip-Hop had a Mission, Vision, and direction.....Brothers are gonna work it out........

  • Minority has been re-defined in America.... The new minority makes under $150,000.00 a year... And the new minority has nothing 2 do w/ the skin color, or accent spoken... the NEW minority is controlled through their bank account.... "Brother" 2day = "People" - better believe that - raise up yer metaphorical hammer & start to work it out by VOTING out INCUMBENTS = those that have been in power

  • I gave myself whiplash knocking this shit

  • @PaulKersey108 Lol whaTTTT? boy they don't do it like this no mo Fam....The right way in full, no bull Talkin', no walkin', drivin', arrivin' in style Soon you'll see what I'm talkin' 'bout..yeaaaaaaaa

  • this is the type of song that makes me love hip hop..the track is funky..the rhymes are dope...the message is positive..if only brothas had listened

  • @UncleLoren oxygen theif

  • This was before Hip-Hop turned into Rap

  • @cannibalonXthedead hey man rap is a component of hip hop. its not really interchangeable even though its used by politicians that way.

  • @cannibalonXthedead thank you finally someone sees the difference between hip hop and "rap" we dont need "rap" to have hip hop.

  • @cannibalonXthedead - TRUTH

  • @cannibalonXthedead Yes and before it sold out to the establishment...

  • @cannibalonXthedead Rap is something you do, hip-hop is something you are. Get it straight. Hip-hop did not "turn into" rap, though I get what you're saying.

    PE <3

  • @cannibalonXthedead I think this WAS the point at which hiphop turned into rap.

  • @cannibalonXthedead Not so. Rap is a form of Hip-Hop. Hip-Hop is not just music. Even not good Rap is still Hip-Hop. Just like crappy states are still the US. This is great Rap music.

  • These guys were way ahead of the times. What happened?

  • @MrJasonhenry7 Turns out they were WAAAY too ahead of the times. Not everyone can appreciate greatness, I guess....
