Apparently you don't know history. The ancient Romans' elite fighting forces also encouraged physical love between the soldiers so they would form stronger bonds therefore fighting for their 'brothers' rather than in self interest (retreat anyone?). This is why this whole idea of gay/straight is silly, in the end there are just people, I wish everyone would quit trying to quantify and categorize everything.
