That's what you say, but millions say otherwise. Besides without Super Robots, real robots wouldn't exist. It was thanks to SRs like Mazinger Z and Getter Robo that we have mecha now. Plus SRs are significant pieces of mech history, the are the ones that invented the trends we love so much. Getter was the first transforming/combining mech, The Romance Series (Voltes V, Daimos) placed drama and "looking at the 'bad guy's' point of view.

I wanted to make it more theatrical, but I agree with you that Ali would die really fast. But Master Asia can't beat Kaiser, even with his Gundam. Kaiser's armor is stronger than any armor is the whole Gundam universe, heck the Mecha universe. Also Kaiser can destroy planets in full power.

Master Asia can definitely defeat most to all Real Robots without any mech.

Moreover, it's still either a real robot or super robot. There is no "unreal" robot. Those would be mixtures which can sway to either real or super robot in terms of everything.

because of all the costs needed in making one, plus the fact that all the other complexities such as how to support its massive weight and internal systems would make it impractical to make one.

Hover cars are a possibility, but even those have been said to be highly difficult to produce. What more a humanoid mecha?

You are entitled to your own opinion, but SR's do have a place in this world. Both real and fictional! They are like mecha super heroes! They show values and morals, they have become the childhood heroes of many countries and generations! Spain made a life-sized statue of Mazinger Z in honor of him!!

Plus without SRs, reals would have never existed! Tetsujin 28 is more like a SR, and I don't need to say anything for Mazinger.

SRs are the symbols of japanese mecha.
