AWESOME DOC!!! (I wish my parents had the money to give me piano lessons...it would have paid off by now just as you!) -Bigger Blessings for you doc! Hay Rick try to meet me at Rev. Dewey Smith's big music conference this coming July in De. GA! This is were Kevin Bond is now! It's going to be awesome dude!
No it's not the matter of being formal my dude, just think of it as this; we don't know who these people are behind these comments. Had it been White person, sayin' that NIGGA'(even though I'm sure it wasn't)we all would have a different discussion goin on right now. So let's just keep it real and move on. Besides My boy Rick is doin' some amazing work for the lord. We need to treat him as Royalty....We all Royalty whether you wanna accept it or not.
Great style I hope to inspire my 11 year old son with you smiles and talent which I'm sure by the sound was developed with lots of hard work and practise. Thanks I'll put you on my Favs
Now this is what I have to work on. I love how you glide through chord changes seemingly without effort (although being a pianist/organist I know there's effort involved).
yes it is James Hall... its a reharmonization of "God Want's a Yes" arranged by John Peters, check out his "Piano Toolbox DVD"... thats where i got it from
true... gospel guys like flat keys, mainly Bb, Eb, Ab, Db maj pentatonic scales since the crossover is much easier! but i guess its easier for cats to visualize the Gb pent since it is all black
This is when u were 12? Haha i give up doc

This is way too abstract for me. But it is so pretty, but please just keep it straight. Sounds nothing like the way James Hall wrote it!

Then go listen to the James Hall CD.
