    Representin the Boot (aka) Louisiana

  • so formal lol

  • No it's not the matter of being formal my dude, just think of it as this; we don't know who these people are behind these comments. Had it been White person, sayin' that NIGGA'(even though I'm sure it wasn't)we all would have a different discussion goin on right now. So let's just keep it real and move on. Besides My boy Rick is doin' some amazing work for the lord. We need to treat him as Royalty....We all Royalty whether you wanna accept it or not.

  • Ric, What kind of overhead video set up do you have there? -Thanks 'EB'

  • Now this is what I have to work on. I love how you glide through chord changes seemingly without effort (although being a pianist/organist I know there's effort involved).

  • good, very good

  • very very nice...

  • Thank God for the Internet. Otherwise, the world would have never heard of Ricky Drapper. Great harmonics!

  • WOW!!!!

  • If im not mistaken thats James Hall?

  • yes it is James Hall... its a reharmonization of "God Want's a Yes" arranged by John Peters, check out his "Piano Toolbox DVD"... thats where i got it from

  • if you noticed, most gospel pianist like to stay around the Gb pentatonic scale...usually....that's what i've noticed...

  • true... gospel guys like flat keys, mainly Bb, Eb, Ab, Db maj pentatonic scales since the crossover is much easier! but i guess its easier for cats to visualize the Gb pent since it is all black

  • dammmn boi i wish i was half u

  • Dude, you gotta send me those chords!!! Nice playing!!!

  • i posted my transcription of this tune on my website... http://rickydraper.com/transcriptions/JohnPetersGodWantsAYes.pdf
