1- EVERYBODY thinks they're a better Frenchy/Sonny/Rizzo, etc. and I find it so fucking annoying when people post that.

2- Go easy on her. She had the flu. The entire cast got it, and she was one of the last ones to get it, and thus the last to get over it. I was shocked she didn't keel over on the stage.

What accent? Nowhere in the script does it say Frenchy has an accent.

Or are you one of those people who wants everything to be exactly like the movie? Because we were doing THE PLAY, if you hadn't noticed. That's what it was twenty freaking years before the movie was made, and that's the way we chose to play it.

Frenchy Has a character voice. She has a charcacter voice in the musical and the movie. This actress failed to do it. Lol you can work yourself up all you want ecause you know that entire school played a crappy version of grease.

Show me where in the script it says that Frenchy has to have a character accent.

Actors interpret things differently all the time. That's what makes their version of the character different than everyone else's. If everyone did the character the same every time, then no one would be interested in seeing the show.

And I think our school did pretty damn good, considering this was the first musical the school had done since 1983. And we did it with next to no budget.

If you have a life, why are you wasting your time posting comments on a video of some other high school's production of Grease? If you don't like it, don't watch it. Simple as that.

And thanks, that shitty job we did sold out at all five shows. And the provincial newspaper reviewers seemed to enjoy it as well.

....and yes, I still have the script on hand, even two years after this was done. XD

so weird. Because we are doing it right now with no changes to the script and ours is keyster. Oh well haha. Does your script have Kenickie saying Whoa Zuko, where you keep your wheaties?

He actually says "Jesus, Zuko", not Whoa, but the rest of the line is there.

We got our scripts from Samuel French Inc. Maybe you got them from somewhere different?
