parts of it sound a bit like "the greatest man that ever lived" by weezer, which in turn was inspired by some traditional song, i can't remember. ("a shaker hymn" or something like that?)
Many listens of this and besides the lovely animal interaction. The sheep in their innocent glory and birds being twats, I appreciate the old photos of people who have past, not just the corpses. Now immortalized on YouTube.
Poignant song I never get sick of watching and listening to.
I'd love to hear this live with the crowd singing along. Don't know how you do it Ginger but once again you've surprised the fans by showing us you can take your music in yet another unexpected direction. Love it man
This song has pushed me to post. Long time WH fan (since "Mondo"). Had a really bad day, then this song comes out - it's a rallying cry. Thankyou Ginger - your timing is perfect as always.
Am not good at picking up lyrics and certainly not during a first listen but a few listens in, these are simple yet uplifting, poignant lyrics. Ginger has a knack for the simple but heartfelt and uplifting to the max.
What a great choice to right at the point where we get some lyrics, you edit in photographs. I don't know why but it's got feeling and atmos this song, especially set to the various images.
love it

Beautiful footage, which reminds me of Snowdonia. Beautiful song also. This is the 3rd time I've listened to it.

That melody line sounds like the strings at the start of 'If I Can't Have You' by Yvonne Elliman. Borrowed perhaps?
Anyway, mint tune! Keep 'em comin!
