Its called a trebuchet..Catapults use Tension, Trebuchets use Gravitational Potential Energy, stored in a counterweight.

I wish you'd done it even better on the animation and sound editing :/ Then it would be perfect, atleast in my eyes. The movement were so LOTR 1, in my opinion. And the screaming sound was so tacky : p
