sorry if you already know this but using morgul decay puts the balrogs armour rating to 0 this battle is easy xD

dude you got to be fuckin kidding me, i killed the beast in about 5 minutes. just use morgul decay, and aura of the valar on everyone, and do you have a life, that must have taken you days to get all of those moves you got there 5/5.

also you'd better use Berethor's leadership skill: company rally, it teduces the damge taken by elemental or magic attacks...

If you use this with Hadhod's: Endure flame, you will not die in 1 hard hit.

i got it one try and i got the paty beat on evil as balrog the only thing u need to use as balrog is pillar of wrath

what i would do is use roaring inferno and everyone but gandalf should be dead, just keep using roaring inferno on him till he dies, he only uses wizards drain. the battle summed up to about three minutes

i beat the balrog first time on medium. forget about everyone else and use idrail to heal gandalf and use arnor mushrooms on him. simple

it took me 1 try, no training, in less than 10 mins to beat this dude on easy, its simple, have idrial constantly heal, have berethor taunt the balrog so idrial has someone basic to heal, use haste of the elves on gandalf, use both endure fire and shadow, or even company resistance if u have it.

how did u get gandalf such high health. I'm guessing you used Symbelmine from the Crafting Stone??

I no longer play this game but from what i can recall... keep using spells like endure shadow and endure fire etc. also use hadhod to put up stone shields and gandalf has high health here anyway also use idrial to revive

lol my gandalf died and i was like huh better use a elf potion and my berethor was on full health he got hit with flame sword attack and i was like great because the balrog was on like 1 hp but anyway he hit me with the flame sword and i only just survived i countered attacked and killed him lolz XD

play in hard mode, you'll level up way faster, train in Moria.

u still get the same SP skills (+1 SP Skill) each time u use a skill, but u will gain twice as much EXP, is what i meant.

i have completed it before alot better than this and on hard mode ... i just did it with my brothers save file thats why its not as good ... makes a better vid though coz it prolongs that battle

I tried to ressurect people using Idrial but I still had to use some pecious elf medicine. =S

It usually gets to this stage in the end where the Balrog has defeated half of your party and you're using more Elven Medicine. You can still defeat the Balrog with Gandalf single handed. If he heals himself with a Kingsfoil he heals more damage than usual and so you can take more attacks and get more Bolt of the Valars in. But you did really well in this. Great work. :)
