i am in europe now but once i lived in Wasanpora Lahore then shifted to near by Shad Bagh and then to Model town Lahore.All parts are beautiul specially Misiri shah, gool bagh. nakhuda chock and aamir road.

i lived near Ali manzal if you know....Shia Jaloos finished there in the month of Muharam.

I am punjabi but from india.. i always hear about lahore from my grannies and grannas, and would like to visit lahore. I live in chicago and have some friends from lahore, and they speak same punjabi as we do (unlike rawalpindi or gujaranwala punjabi).. Fact: lahore to amritsar=20mins drive lol

yea i have actually heard it first hand myself...ambersariya and lahori punjabi are very similar because of the distance between the two cities there barely 30 km apart from each other. and definitely if u can get a chance to visit lahore you should...the history the culture the people and the jazba will just blow you away.

I gotta visit Lahore one-day, as my grandfather lived there pre-1947. He often talks of the family friends his family was separated from due to the segregation of Sikhs and Muslims. Its a shame humanity seems bent of seeking divisions between people rather than unity.
