Very inspiring work. Like all your sculptures, very fine details and amazing likeness. I think I’ll start my Captain Kirk again. I had difficulties with him as well.
@mrmarcisdaboss Yeah that's the part I have trouble finding the energy to do. I like making the stuff, but I don't like finding people to buy things and using my time being a sales man. I should probably work with someone who likes to sell. I have to work on that and a lot of things. I'm constantly trying to get more organized.
@JimSweet Yeah i can understand that. Would really be the best to have a partner who would try to find some customers...There are too many people out there selling crap art, so it would be a goddamn shame if there wouldn't be people, who are interesting in your works.
@mrmarcisdaboss Thanks man. I don't know what it is, I just do what I do. Like Charles Bukowski says, "I just do it because I do it like a spider makes a web, a fish swims; I drink and I gamble and I write.” Only I draw, sculpt and animate. I'm just glad I finally finished it.
@JimSweet Hehe, yeah i bet...must have been a long time to finish it. Do you count the hours of your works and are you doin that in your freetime only or do you also make scultures and drawings to make some cash? :-P
@mrmarcisdaboss Yeah it took to long. I was logging the hours then I just gave up, because I didn't work on it steady enough about half way through. Next time I'm using wax but then I will need to learn how to cast it somehow. The good thing about the clay is I can bake it and paint it and that that piece. With wax you have to mold and cast it if you want to paint it. Yeah I just do this with my freetime. It's not a job or anything. I should start doing things for cash sometime.
